Was there no couch gag on this one? The NFL wrap-up show ended late and they just launched right into the opening scene with the last few credits. I suspect my local Fox channel wanted to squeeze in a few more commercials.
I thought the best gag in this one was grandpa eating "Senior Mints" at the movies.

There have been some episodes over the past few years without the full opening theme song and couch gag due to the actual content of the episode needing more time. Conversely, there have been some episodes that ran short and had a brief Simpsons cartoon added to the end.

No couch gag, just cut from The Simpsons title to the episode.

The show was running late due to the NFL, I think they didn't want to upset too many DVR viewers by cutting out the intro. Good episode, the line about Hulu was the best.

That was the best!

I liked the idea of a deboot undoing a previous reboot.
