A few bit parts. Guilt Trip and Killer Elite are two that come to mind. I'd like to see more of her. Literally. Please someone cast her in a nude scene.

Re: Chuck

/\ She must have a "No Nudity" clause in her contracts. Her character in Dexter would have afforded much nudity, but everything was shot in such a way that nothing was ever really shown.

Bit part is right--she was completely wasted in Killer Elite. She probably won't do nudity other than for an "important role." Though TV is kind of that these days.

All this Chuck talk got me interested again so I watched the first couple episodes last night. She may not like nudity but she has no problem with those underwear shots.

Re: Chuck

I just discovered Chuck and have been watching an episode or two per night (Netflix), almost done with Season 3.

Nice show and I encourage anybody looking for something different to give it a try!

Re: Chuck

I enjoyed the whole series, though I still maintain that the show took a wrong turn after season 2 by having the new intersect give Chuck super-physical skills ("I know kung-fu.") It really changed the dynamic that worked so well in the first two seasons: Chuck as the smart, scared nerd solving problems by his wits with a little help from the Intersect, and Sarah and Casey as the seasoned professionals handling the rough stuff. After Chuck became the ultimate weapon, the team aspect diminished a bit and the show was poorer for it. It was still a lot of fun and I watched to the end, but I think it lost some of the magic of the first two seasons.

Re: Chuck

Season 3 was still a good bit of fun, Season 4 though was a big step backwards.

Yvonne S. was also on the 24 mini series this year.

Re: Chuck

I'm just finishing binging the series yet again and I agree wholeheartedly with Cellar Door and Rich. Season 2 was about as much fun as I've ever had with a comedy series. I don't think there was a stinker in the bunch and the show was really firing on all cylinders. I think the Ultimate intersect did seem to make the rest of the team obsolete at times. Also in later years as the budgets became tighter some of the episodes were bad as they tried to do more with less. Unfortunately the series closing was downright disappointing to most fans of the show. I just have the last 3 to watch and the quality was OK but the direction I just didn't care for.

Edited to add: In spite of all that, the characters, charisma and humor made it one of my favorite shows. The leads really hit their marks. If Intelligence had half the charm of Chuck it would have made it.

Re: Chuck

I don't know what brought the show back up but I've been going through my first watch of it as well. I commented that it goes off the rails in Season 4, and I"m kind of pushing through with it still now. Season 1 - 2 were fantastic, Season 3 good.

One thing I will say, instead of playing the whole cancellation game NBC was playing with it, it should have gone to USA. The show would have fit perfectly on there. The show plays like a mix of Psych and Burn Notice.

I wish they'd give us a 2 hour movie that made things right with Chuck and Sarah

Re: Chuck

I'd suggest that to Netflix Chuck, Morgan and Ellie are definitely available.

Re: Chuck

Zachary levi, Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin have all stayed pretty busy. the supporting cast not so much.

There were still some highlights in the later seasons. The verbanski/casey episodes were a lot of fun. The John Larouquette episodes were great too.

I didn't like the change either, but I give the show credit for being willing to change things up and not just ride the same formula.

Re: Chuck

I just got sick of Chuck and Sarah after a while. I quit the show once and then came back for the Chevy Chase episodes only to quit again a few episodes later. They should have just killed off Agent Walker and kept Rachel Bilson.

I always hoped they would bring her back. "Lou" was a really fun, quirky character who had genuine chemistry with Chuck.

Incidentally, I'm a teacher and one of my former students had a significant role in one episode of Chuck. I was watching and every time they showed her I was like, "She looks really familiar," until it finally dawned on me. I messaged her on facebook and she said it was a really fun show to work on.

I said back then, if they were going to yank Sarah Walker away from him like that they should have brought back some of the old girlfriends to help him at the end. Rachel Bilson, Jordana Brewster, Kristen Kreuk all or any would have made for an interesting send-off

Re: Chuck

After Yvonne worked on 24 this past summer, I think the sky is the limit for her. She will either get a lead role in a new drama for next season or branch off into movies. Honestly, I hope she stays away from doing comedies, especially TV. She's way too good for that genre.

That's cool, who did she play?

He's had quite a few appearances just not many long term gigs. If he's half as fun as his character was he'd be a fun guy to hang out with.

She did a couple movies, but basically "the girlfriend" in Killer Elite which anyone could have done. Guilty Trip where they had her looking like Malin Akerman and I Frankenstein which supposedly was a turd (haven't seen it yet). I agree with you DJ, another lead on a big new drama would be great for her.
