I think this is funnier if you are a parent. Geat episode there were several LOL moments for me.

Considering my daughter does that to me, it was very funny and annoying at the same time.

I enjoyed this episode more than any of the ones at the end of the season...Peter curled up in bed with a pillow tied to his butt was a LOL moment for me.

Shipwreck 09-11-06 12:44 PM

Peter running back home from the doctor's office with his pants down and crying was very funny. And in the flashback when the doctor put Peter on the pinball machine was insane. And, of course, Peter calling the evil monkey Meg set me off all over again.

Big Dan's, yet another RI reference.......

You just described half the jokes on Family Guy.

I thought that was from The Accused with Jodie Foster.

I loved the episode.

The "Peter bangs his knee" jokes knew when to stop, typically at (my) step #3. This one went two steps beyond. ;)

Big Dan's, yet another RI reference.......

Big Dan's Tavern (yes, the place and rape that was the basis for The Accused) is in New Bedford, MA not RI. Very close to the state border, but still MA

thought it was good - and a million times funnier than most anything else on TV, so I'll take it

MrX 09-11-06 05:08 PM

I thought it was funny. The scene at the Clam where they're all admitting what happened was great:lol:

Peep 09-11-06 05:13 PM

The "Sulu" gags were all lame.

zekeburger1979 09-11-06 05:17 PM

My favorite: "I'm like that Texas woman that held her son's head underwater and brain-damaged him.....I'm Barbara Bush" - Lois. Holy hell, that was funny. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

That was great!! BEST line of the entire episode!

but yeah, those "Sulu" gags didn't do much for me.

I give this one a B/B+.

Anyone see the Bill Shatner roast? Seemed like there were more jabs at Takai's orientation than there were about Shatner in general......

GuruTwo 09-12-06 03:08 AM

I LOVED that part where they reminded me of something I watched on television as a child instead of actually writing jokes! These guys are geniuses!

RichC2 09-12-06 06:37 AM

such as?

vaporware 09-12-06 08:47 AM

He's a Family Guy hater making a manatee joke.

RichC2 09-12-06 09:28 AM

Oh I'm well aware, I just like backing for episode specific bashes.

Did anyone else have issues with this broadcast? My DirecTV reception for this and American Dad just SUCKED while The Simpsons and other programming in the same time period was fine. Maybe it was my local affilliate. I kept getting a jumpy picture and the sound kept dropping out. :mad2:

Slayer2005 09-13-06 07:36 AM

This was a hilarious episode. Peter's reaction to the exam was classic and so was his his fake testimony at the trial with the flash backs of the incident. Several classic moments. I don't know how many caught this moment, but I thought it was pretty funny (and brutal) when Stewie said "Hey! I'm dying up here! What is this? A Tommy Lee pool party!?".

I had already laughed out loud several times in the first 5 mintues of the new Family Guy episode. Unfortunately, I don't recall laughing once during The Simpsons.

This happened for me to and it was driving me crazy. Audio went out every 5 seconds for me and the picture was doing some weird vhs-tracking like thing the whole episode. I gave up after 2 minutes and just downloaded it.

Kind of a weak one.

The Tim McCarver comment was the only highlight of the episode.
