Wasn't that Stewie ass-kicking a reference to (besides Naked Gun) Attack of the Clones when Yoda threw down?

I think the opening bit was therapy for Seth [the creator of the show]. If you remember, he was booked on one of the flights that was hi-jacked and crashed on September 11th, 2001. He missed the flight obviously. He also previously removed an Osama bit from repeat television airings and the DVD for sensitivity. This episode was also all about pushing the envelope and it seems Seth put everything he could into this one.

I thought the opening was excellent. I particularly liked the big sunglasses bit and the two dead girls from The Shining in the hallway getting mowed down.

Exactly what I thought also. The spins in mid-air and the bouncing off the cave wall seemed like the dead giveaway.

Also, the D**k Van D**e Show bit was great.

I loved when peter was at the dinner table and he was yelling and every other word was bleeped out by the airhorn. OMG i was on the floor laughing.

When peter stepped out of the shower, covering up his balls, and then asking if his chin was offensive because they looked like balls. LOL

Great episode, best of this season, F THE FCC

I really liked this episode. Since the show came back it felt lacking but this episode was great. I had to pause the show I was laughing so hard at the airhorn bleep at the table.

I find it odd that Simpsons took a shot at Family Guy (during the end credits one of the scary names was "Family Guy") the same night Family Guy took a shot at the Simpsons (Homer gets run over and Peter asks who he is.)

Finally got around to watching this last night. FANTASTIC. I was laughing all the way through. Peter can keep running over Homer as much as he wants if they keep up this level of A+ material.

Oh my God - how OBSCURE could some of those references BE?!!??!

Cobra Commander?!? Apache CHIEF?!?! I saw him, and I was like "Oh NO!" He was like the weakest Superfriend. "Enuk-CHOCK!"

Oddly enough, THIS line almost made me pee my pants almost with the hour long "Side Boob". "This is my side boob."

Great episode. A lot of Brian, Peter and Stewie... and some Chris and almost no Meg!

Loved this episode! I was so glad to see a different opening for the show as I have not been very fond of the old one for a long time. I hope this is the start of something new for Family Guy. Maybe they'll make fun of a different movie in each opening sequence.

They also did a Law & Order parody opening in one of their episodes a while back, too.

That part had me rolling Guess I never really considered it anything other than a name.

Plus, it's the first time in a while I've seen a slam toward Bush that was done in an actual comedic fashion.

Oh My God... how can they top this episode of Family Guy?! The Police Squad opening homage set the mood for greatness. Even when the FCC came to turn Peter off and he said, "You have to catch me first" and took off on the rocket pack.. only to hit the wall ala falling and hurting his leg in "Wasted Talent" and then pounding into the wall for about a minute... classic!

Haha, watched it again, loved the flashback to when Peter worked for ACME and Wile E. Coyote came in looking for a refund on a failed product but Peter said maybe he could get a store credit, all while Wile E's wife is nagging him from behind...lol

Was something editted out of it?

When shown on Fox 5 NY. I'm not sure if sound was dropped or something was editted out...

Towards the end, after Peter's fart makes all of congress come outside, one of the congressmen begins to speak but audio was dropped for a couple of seconds... did everyone miss what he said? or was this an isolated incident in the NY area? Was wondering if they might have more overboard then they already had got and Fox made them edit something out.... just an idea...

Greatest Episode Ive seen in awhile tho.. Really shows how messed up Seth and Company are.. gotta love them though

Anyone else find it hysterical that Fox aired an AXE ad during a commercial break?
