The last 30 seconds was great. I love it when MacFarlane and Co play it straight.

I thought it was excellent: smart and funny at the same time.
Contrast this episode with the one where Stewie and Brian were trapped in the bank vault, which was horrendous.

Re: Family Guy *Season Premiere 1 Hour Episode* - "And Then There Were Fewer" - 09/26
I thought it was pretty epic and kept me interested, but not a whole lot of laughs. I wonder if those characters are going to stay gone. I can picture them returning, and dismissing the deaths with a throwaway line.
It was pretty funny that they brought in some extremely minor characters like the movie geek and the doctor, and Drew Barrymore, just to fill up the house. It just goes to show that they haven't created nearly as big a universe as The Simpsons.
Favorite lines
"I didn't kill anyone!"
"Tell it to Mike Judge."
"When they make a movie about this, Adrian Brody will play your part."
"I guess you don't want anyone to see it."
(group laughter)

The episode was about 1/2 hr too long. Lots of pull away shots - which kind of slowed down the pace of the show.
Not that many laughs, but it did have an 80's movie vibe to it. Great to see the show in HD

Great episode if you are a fan of the movies being spoofed. I loved all the dead on Tim Burton shots with music scores and since I had just watched clue a few months ago the film was fresh in my mind.
I also loved the after-school special drama cliche bank-vault episode last year last year so go figure.

Another unfunny episode.
From what I've seen last season and so far this season, it really seems like the show's running out of ideas and jokes.

I'm surprised they actually talked Rush into being on the show. And yeah, based on that clip, looks like i didn't miss much

The Brady Bunch HD gag was pretty good.
The deaths in the first episode were addressed and Diane is still dead.
The Lois fart joke was pretty funny. I did really like the Sons Of Tucson gag, as I'm sure most of the audience had no idea it was ever a "thing."
Other than that, the show was pretty lackluster.

It was pretty fun. I heard Rush mentioning it during his show so I had to check it out. Haven't really watched the show in a while.

I liked it! Reminded me of better days when the show was more consistent!
Liked all of the stuff mentioned above, but the hit-and-run gag (kids dangling from the top of the car) with Peter was classic! Brian and the European porn and Stewie's interest in tastefully nude photography books were funny.
The song, btw, was a re-written version of "The Company Way" from How To Succeed In Business (I've done that show, so it was great to hear it in FG).
I wonder why Limbaugh would want to be part of such a liberal cartoon like Family Guy.

I enjoyed it, it seems this season they are going for more of a storyline then they are with running gags.

Thought it was so so. Can't really put my finger on what I didn't like, but the storyline felt kind of ho-hum.
This is the second time Rush has been on the show. He voiced a Tatooine talk radio host on the first Family Guy Star Wars. I guess him and Seth get along.

He has been on the show several times. He is actually friends with MacFarlane, and when Seth asked him to do a full episode Rush was happy to do it. Shocking as it may seem to some, liberals and conservatives can actually be friends.

I really liked it as well, although Mcfarlene took his usual shots at Republicans. He made good points about Rush and the people who attack him without reading into his point of view.

Re: Family Guy -- "Excellence in Broadcasting" -- 10-3-2010
This was a horrible episode. Equally as mind numbingly boring and dull as last weeks hour long premiere. 0-2 this season Family Guy, they can do better.
