Went back and watched the scene again... So sick that we actually see Huell pickpocket the weed from Jesse. I'd bet less than 1% of the audience actually saw it the first time.

C'mon, it's obviously going to end with Walt getting a brand new identity from Saul's guy then moving to Metropolis as none other than Lex Luthor.

I first heard about this show a couple of months ago and used Netflix to watch Seasons 1-5.5, and have seen the last 3 eps through Tivo->PC->cell. A little burned out from over 60 eps in a short period of time but this show is awesome.
I love Todd, he's one of my favorite characters. He was the kid from that Joaquin Phoenix movie that came out either late last year or early this year.
Goes to show you maybe some people are born psycopaths.
Don't forget the cancer is back, so he's probably going to die any way. He has cancer and is going to die, so might as well destroy the world as much as he can while he's at it!!
"What is that?"
"It's my Roomba."
[Blank Stare]
"Nevermind."
One of my most favorite exchanges in a TV show or movie of all time

And to think Jesse was only going to be in a few eps in S1 before being killed off and the writer's strike caused the show to pause and the overwhelming positive response from people to the great interaction between Walter and Jesse made them keep him.

I still think that Hank has a friend in Gomie, even after that confession DVD. Seems frustrating that he won't at least confide in his old partner.

So THAT'S why you were spending all that government money on those follow-ups, you were making sure your buddies didn't get out of line. You know how this looks, right? You put me in a tough spot. I have to bring this to the boss.

He DID fail to mention Hank took his gun off before going into the bar, so he is ok with squirting policy to help a partner out.
Hank's been kind of an ass to him, though.

Skirt policy. And I think the situation with Hank is... even if you think your buddy might react a certain way, how sure are you? He doesn't have much wiggle room if he's wrong.
The bottom line is law enforcement personnel are used to being the aggressor with the odds in their favor when it comes to going after perps. Walter has put Hank in the uncomfortable position of being a real target -- one who may not be in a superior position. Hank's going to have to digest that, come to terms with it, and see what he can salvage.

I think there are two ways of handling Hank now.
1) He's done. The threat is neutered. We might not even see him again. I sort of like this outcome.
2) They act like #1 is the way it's going until the close of the next to last episode and we find out that Hank has done something truly staggering to get himself back in the game. I actually like this one even better. The finale then involves balls to the wall action in the last 30 when Walter takes care of his family, Hank, Jesse, and Lydia and then of course the second half hour is the Malcolm in the Middle pilot.

The key with his work partners is that he is seen a complete alpha male. I think it would (with the evidence) be easier to believe Hank is a drug kingpin than it would be to accept him as being so clueless and being played for more than a year by someone seen as so weak as his brother-in-law.

I find it funny and ironic that Hank handed Walt a gun, presumably for the first time, and then laughed at him. Who is laughing now? I think Hank is in a way responsible for the man that Walt ultimately becomes. I know that people say you can't blame others for what becomes of you but I don't believe that to be entirely true.

It's fun to think back to how relatively fun and careless things were when they dealt with that grisly stuff in Jesse's house (the basement, dissolving the guy in the bathtub). The story has come a long way since then.
I'm tired of Walt's angle with trying to persuade and manipulate Jesse. Should have had a real heart to heart, or killed him.
I liked the "confession" twist. Other than that, I don't think I sided with Walt on anything in this episode.
Five episodes left (I think). Hope they reveal something that we never thought possible. Kill Hank. Kill Jesse. Don't kill Saul.
Anyone think that maybe Walt's son is at home and will confront Jesse first thing next episode?

i don't think the True Blood writers could come up with a better Jason Stackhouseism.
