If the Jim and Pam character don't return on top of the Dwight character getting his own show, I will no longer be watching the Office

In next week's episode, they go back to Florida and Nellie waterskis and jumps a shark. One can only hope she's eaten by the shark. At the very least, the shark jump will be official

Given that Nellie just appointed herself to a position, I don't know why everyone else in the office isn't following suit and just making up all their own rules as well. Jim and Pam could appoint themselves to work-from-home positions, Meredith could change the rules on drinking in the work place, Stanley could grant himself an additional 6 months of vacation time, Kevin could give himself 4 hour lunch breaks, and Dwight could appoint himself head of Sabre.

Apparently Nellie is still at Dunder-Mifflin for at least the next three episodes, according to http://www.officetally.com/. Gross.

Also, Dwight owns the building the branch is in...somehow. So why hasn't he tried to leverage that in some way to get a position.

That actually would be pretty funny!!!

I watched this episode yesterday and was really amazed at how accurate the comments above are. It is really coming apart at the seams before our eyes, almost to the point where it's like a train wreck that you can't believe you're witnessing but don't want to look away. Really sad given how brilliant the show once was. They should either fire and bring in new writers / creative team, or go with JR's idea above as a series finale and abort the season early.

Just watched it last night. Not very good, but there were some good lines. You guys have posted a bunch, but I'm surprised that this one was overlooked:

Robert California: "Andy if you say No one more time you are fired. Now is there anything else you would like to say?

Andy: "No"

LMAO

So they could get rid of DeAngelo by paralyzing him, but we get Nellie for 3 more episodes? Are you fucking kidding me?

What's so funny about that? He said no like 10 times in a row. How could you not see that coming.

Well Will Ferrell was only signed on for I think 4 or 5 episodes so they had to get him out somehow. They must like this Nellie character for some reason. I can't believe they thought bringing her to Scranton was such a good idea. I couldn't wait for them to be out of Florida just so I wouldn't have to see her anymore. Then they try last week to make her more human with her telling Jim & Dwight about her magician ex-boyfriend. Sorry, it didn't make me any more sympathetic.

They haven't mentioned that in awhile. Not that that wasn't silly, anyway. I think they're just trying to forget that happened.

Am I the only one who noticed that the NELLIE character was toned down in the last episode?

I have almost zero ambition to keep watching. Almost. On Friday mornings, it's 30 Rock (always eager to watch it) and then Community and Parks and Rec (usually good). And then The Office if I get around to it. To think that I used to laugh a lot and be uncomfortable and squirmish because of Michael Scott, and then a little teary eyed sometimes. And now I barely have the will to turn the show on.

I'm pretty sure the posting of that line is some sort of bad attempt at a running joke, and that no one actually thought it was funny. That's like the fifth time it's been posted in this thread.

Oh so he was being factious. I couldn't tell I didn't wade through all of the replies.

I loved it. Again, it looks like I'm in the minority....I think this is the strongest year they've had in quite awhile. I'll be sad if Erin and Andy are gone though. That would suck.

Already been done. Pam made herself office manager a couple of seasons ago.

I don't have a DVR so I couldn't roll back.

What was the line with Robert saying something to Andy about what would happen if he said "No" again?

I was in the kitchen and I missed some part about Andy saying "No" to something, did anyone else happen to catch it?
