I used to watch Deadwood that way. The dialog was too dense, fast, and full of names and places I couldn't always recognize audibly.

I'm curious as to whether Melisandre is trying to speak in a British accent, or her normal accent when speaking English, or what. Had to look up that she's from the Netherlands. Her character is from very far away, even much farther away from Westeros than Dany is right now. You'd think they'd want her to have a different accent since she's not a native speaker of the common tongue. Her accent DOES seem a bit different than anyone else but I wonder if it's on purpose, as it should be..especially considering they did go to the trouble on the show of creating a new language.

Boo, was hoping for a 4th season season renewal as well, since ASOS would most likely be split between 2 seasons.

They've already said that this series isn't going to necessarily follow the books, so I don't think that'll be an issue.

No episode count for season 3 was mentioned, but it says the Producers want to keep it at 10 per season.

I think there are some things they could not change without too much of a backlash from the reader base, which seems to have grown significantly since the series (both TV and books) began.

Actually the DID NOT say that. What they said was that they are going to tell GRRMs story, but they may move some elements from book2 into season 3 or book 3 into season 2, like that, but they are very much going to follow the books as faithfully as possible.

I like how the animated opening credits are being revised to add more map locations in this world as the storyline expands to new places. Last week, they added Dragonstone. This week, they added Pyke and the Iron Islands.

Bran was very much present in the premier
Do you mean Rickon? Rickard is dead

Semantics, but you're right. I didn't mean they "aren't going to follow the books" so much as they're not going to do it as a book-per-season type of thing.

Bran then dreams of being out in the Godswood through his Direwolf's eyes .... He later goes there with Hodor and Osha where the talk about dreams and dragons when we see the red comet in the sky and Bran crawls to the water to look at his reflection where before we saw the reflection of the Direwolf
Rickon is at Winterfell and that's about all that matters. ... Catelyn was going to go back to Winterfell and Bran and Rickon but Robb said he needed her elsewhere

Bran presided as Lord of Winterfell with Maester Luwin as the visitor complains about the state of his home while his men are out fighting with Rob

To anyone that's read the books, does Rickon become more important as he grows up? A simple yes or no would suffice... I'm just worried he'll turn into another TV show child that comes and goes, like Lynette's children on Desperate Housewives.

You can't answer that without spoiling something that happens this season.

Ah yes, thank's for the reminder. I guess I'm pretty damn forgetful.
