Re: The Walking Dead -- Season 6 News, Rumors, Castings
Robert Kirkman had said he'd like to get Jon Hamm for that part, which would have been cool. Jon Hamm seemed into it. Spoiler in case, 1 min interview:

Am I in crazy land? Why is Negan a spoiler? Negan Negan Negan. Every fan of the show is just waiting for him. I haven't read the comics. But I guess he's going to be an awesome villain to watch out for. So much buildup, I hope he doesn't disappoint. He's going to have to be 10x better than the other villains.
I thought The Wolves' attack was the best efforts from a villain yet. The premise that they act like wolves, and don't believe humans should be around anymore. Good stuff. And I wasn't sure how to feel since a lot of them seemed like cowards when caught.
I think there were guesses that he was going to be someone who showed up at Terminus last season.

Negan's introduction in the comics was, well, I'll just say pretty damned unforgettable and leave it at that... Though I'm about 90% sure they'll shake it up some on the tv show.

Were some posts here deleted?
I think I read about a certain facebook page, which I went to, and watched the video AMC is furiously having pulled from youtube...
All I have to say is this:
Oh, yeah, fuckety fucking fuck, it's going down!

Yeah, I saw the post with the Facebook link earlier too, but forgot who posted it. Not sure why it was deleted unless it was deemed fake.

It was me. I just wasn't sure if it should be posted here so I deleted it.
The leaked video footage was pulled down several times by AMC for copyright violations, so I think it is totally legit.

Is it just me or are they going to have to make major changes in the way Negan talks for the show? Does AMC allow that much cursing?

They do not. Negan will have to be toned down, but if they're smart there will be alternate takes for home video and streaming.

I believe they are allowed to use the F bomb once per season. The cast of Breaking Bad used to joke about wanting to be the one to say it every season. TWD has not gone down this route though and AMC might not want to upset anyone given how popular and profitable the show is. Should be interesting how they handle the character's language 'issues'.

That's probably true for a couple of lines, but would they really want to spend the extra time to shoot many scenes with the different dialogue? I guess they do multiple takes anyway, but still it could take extra time.

I'd like to see them have Negan use every possible euphemism for the F word and have someone ask him about why he doesn't swear. He could give the same answer he gave in the comic as to why they don't rape.

Yea, every other word out of comic Negan's mouth is the F bomb. They are just going to have to change that for the show. It's not about time, but money, as AMC has played it as cheap as possible with this series as often as possible.
