Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
This was not his first arrest for drugs. He was likely facing major time.
Hate to say it in hindsight after the man is dead, but I'd long suspected he was laundering drug money. I mean, he was WAY too ostentatious. Look how he dressed compared to the rest of the group. And he threw around obscene amounts of money.
I'd read they wanted to use him as a replacement for Dave. I guess that clears the way for Nabila. Sad part is he has a young daughter.
ADD: Talk about unfortunate timing. Tonight's episode featured him and the whole cast trashing him, talking smack about how flashy he is. Certainly doesn't change my view of him.

Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
I read that he was using the storage lockers to launder drug money and that this was his 3rd strike so he was facing life in prison. Not sure how true any of that is though.

So on the episode of The Job tonight while they have the contestants competing for a job at Cosmo, they have to choose random people to take photo's of.
One person's choice: The redhead selling vintage items out of her van from Storage Wars: NY.
Recognized her instantly.

Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
Two new episodes tonight. The first featured another new character, a black dude named Ivy who runs a big shop in Palmdale. He came a looooong way for this auction but he also cleaned up. The second episode featured those goofy twins from the episode where Barry found the "Revenge of the Jedi" jacket.
The opening is changed to remove Hester. So nice to be without the Yuuuuuups.

I think Balelo is going to be in one of next week's episodes. They mention Mark in the DVR description of the episode.

They need a Dave Hester type heel on this show. I was really bored by these episodes. But Brandi's boobs were looking awesome as usual.

Actually, given her popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if she pushed back. She IS a mother of 2 after all. And dogged by the stripper rumors.

I'm out.
Those two episodes sucked real bad. The show needs Hester to play off how terrible the others actually are. Oh well one less thing to worry about.

I think these were just a bump in the road. Hester was canned rather abruptly. I don't think their flagship version of the show will only feed around the 3 bidders. The probably have a new "villain" for future episodes. Maybe the the cougar woman.

Re: Official Storage Wars Discussion
Maybe they are trying out the 4th guy/team with these 'guest' auction buyers. First was the black guy, then the twins. Bet next episode will have someone else. Then pick the one to become permanent.
Think Hester will come back for a guest spot. Sort of like Leeza did on SW Texas. Only difference is, people actually like Hester.

I'm surprised they didn't make Nabila an official member. But it could be that she's in Hollywood and the show is set in Orange County, which is pretty far for her.
