I didn't care much for his first few free CDs, but his last one "Camp" was really good. It actually surprised me how good it was.

The reviews have been mostly good (see below for a sample)

Like it:

Hated it:

Honestly, I don't think we have anything to worry about until next year. NBC might just be holding onto the series for a summer burn-off, or incase something else tanks this year.

The Production company, Sony, is notorious for essentially giving away series so close to syndication (Community will be at 66 episodes at the end of this season).

Re: In Memoriam... "Community" (2009-2012?)

Community is good enough and TV is different enough these days that even a cancellation by NBC would not guarantee the end. E! could pick it up. Netflix could. It might go well with the tone of the comedies on FX, and that move would be ideal in some ways because they could go way dark/smutty/etc in another season.

My guess is that NBC will keep the show around, giving it the Scrubs/Cougar Town type of treatment. Yes, shorter seasons and irregular scheduling suck. I'll take it over no Community.

Agreed. Easily one of my favorite albums of the year and probably the best hip hop record of 2011.

I get angry whenever I see that Chelsea Handler show commercial. Thursday night will soon be the home to some very bad comedies.

It will be on Wednesday though with Whitney. Up All Night will be moving to Thursday. (Where it should've been in place of Whitney all along.)

I wanted to like it, but in the end couldn't take it serious at all. It sounds too much like his regular voice for me to think of him rapping for reals. Also, there seemed to be a reoccurring theme of feeling alone in a sea of white and still proving himself to the street folks. Not saying it's not a legit issue, but I don't need it on 4 tracks in a row probably.

Actually if they shoot all 22 episodes they're supposed to shoot, they'll be at 71. 100 used to be the magic number for syndication, but should they produce a fourth season, they'll be at 93 and close enough by today's standards.

Sorry about my math - I was trying to do it by memory :P

Yes, 100 episodes used to be the magic number for syndication, but lately a lot of networks are trending to 88 episodes - 4 complete seasons. This is what saved "Fringe" last year (they will have exactly 88 episodes come May - and Warner Brothers licensed this current season at about 30-40% what they charged FOX for season 3) and what many people think will save "Community" and "The Good Wife" - especially since they are loved by the critics and good incentives for Netflix and Hulu.

Random aside, I nailed the quad-stumper of the Fraggle Rock dog, because my cat is named Sprocket after that show.

You don't need to if you can take comfort in knowing that they are very often right.

I've been reading that site for over 2 1/2 years now and I would say they probably correct about 95% of the time. The only time I can remember them being wrong is when they predicted that Fringe was going to end last year.

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted here yet:
