You are going to cry real tears when this show is cancelled, aren't you?
I'm not hating, I love the show but you seem to be obsessed with it

*sigh* It's totally going to get cancelled and it's one of the best shows on TV. I can't think of another comedy that could put out something that epic, weird and awesome all rolled into one.
Enjoy it while it lasts!

Unless the ratings are horrible for the next few episodes this show even with the hiatus has a better than average chance of getting renewed.

Great trailer. I'd pretty much forgotten how great this show was after I thought it was gone for good. Now I'm excited!

I think it helped their case a lot when 30 Rock's ratings tanked in that time slot. Maybe NBC will see that it's the time slot and not Community that sucks.

Maybe he's being a little too negative, but you have to realistic. It's not like 10M viewers are going to all of the sudden start watching Community live next Thursday. I'm betting that 90% of Community fans watch it on DVR 1-7 days after it airs or off Hulu, which doesn't do the show any favors for it's overnight ratings, which matter. Pretty much all of NBC's Thursday night sitcoms are down in the ratings this season.

The epic trailer reminds me of why I like this show so much ... but
I am the only one I know that watches it. Doesn't matter how many times I share with them an amazing episode, they say it's too weird. Yes!! it is weird and that is part of what makes it great.
Community has a devoted, but small, audience and that is the best it is gonna get.

If you're not watching Community right now you're part of the problem.
If you're not watching Community right now the terrorists win.

Then you would agree with me that there's a difference between "totally getting cancelled" and "on-the-bubble."

Absent some killer lead in (like if CBS acquired the show and led into it with BBT), this is indeed a niche show. I think Harmon wants 4 seasons, and my guess is given 30 Rock's ratings it's a coin flip or maybe slightly better that he'll get it.

That trailer was awesome.
I like to be optimistic and think that since so many of NBC's new shows tanked this season, they need a show with established viewers like Community to come back next season.

Comedy Central Acquires Off-Net Rights to 'Community'
NEW YORK, March 14, 2012 – Greendale Community College's most famous study group will have a new member beginning in 2013 (and it's not Beetlejuice) as COMEDY CENTRAL has reached a multi-year deal with Sony Picture Television to license the critically-acclaimed comedy series "Community," it was announced today by David Bernath, Executive Vice President, Program Strategy & Multiplatform Programming/Dean of Students for COMEDY CENTRAL and [Sony Pictures Television]. The all-comedy channel will launch the series with three seasons beginning in the fall of 2013.
"Within the chaos of the current media landscape we are fortunate that we live in a timeline where 'Community' comes to COMEDY CENTRAL," said Bernath. "Our staff is celebrating with a game of paintball in the offices today."
"Community is a perfect fit for the COMEDY CENTRAL audience," added John Weiser, president, US distribution for Sony Pictures Television.

This has to help its chances, right?
