Now on to S4!
Great ending to S3, but fuck Fly. Worst episode of the show. It advanced nothing.
Ok, so I should now say that I really like not-Saul's cleaner.
What is up with Hank's fucking rocks?
I'm assuming that during the S4 opener

Only pretentious hipsters think that.
I can understand something thinking the episode was average or bad, 'one of the best' is just ludicrous. I'm of the opinion that it was average, some of the conversations they had were compelling and Walt hitting his head on the boiler was hilarious, but there were no amazing revelations and it wasn't consistently interesting/funny.
"Pine Barrens" is a bottle episode done right.

This episode also set up Jesse as being completely naive to both Walter and how dangerous this drug organization truly is, hence the lack of fear he displays against Gus, Mike or the two thugs later in the season.

However, you are entitled to not liking it, and I am not faulting you for that.

I didn't ultimately consider it a "bottle episode" in the long run. Walt ultimately instills upon Jesse the absolute necessity of maintaining the lab to ensure the purest product possible. It is this episode that allows Jesse to "pull off" being a capable cook when Gus and Mike bring him to the chemists in Mexico, and he does his full-tilt verbal ass reaming of the head chemist.

Those of you talking about the awesome intensity of "One Minute," I eagerly await your reactions to some of the things that happen in season 4 that make "One Minute" seem minor.
I don't get people defending "Fly" by feeling the need to add that it was a "bottle episode." That was the whole problem. It felt like they wanted to do a "bottle episode" so they forced and stretched out a ludicrous plot into it to make it fit.
I didn't ultimately consider it a "bottle episode" in the long run.

Well, I can't wait for those things to happen. We're halfway through S4 and so far, it's a snoozer. They're just treading water. Every event up to the point I'm at could have been condensed into 2, 3 eps tops. And I'm not getting my Saul fix.

Ludicrous is lumping in us that enjoyed it as pretentious hipsters. I have stated numerous times how much I loved this episode for a number of interesting developments that occurred. Additionally, I think most of the detractors didn't enjoy this because of the comedy that happened within the episode. And I find that ironic since there is a lot of comedy (albeit not physical) it the show itself.
