Re: Bob's Burgers -- "Bob Day Afternoon" -- 3/18/12

Gene: "Channel 6 News. They'll finger anything with a pulse."
Bob: "I'm pretty sure their motto is that they have their finger on the pulse of the news."
Gene: "Nope."

Bob's reaction to the bank robber saying "Jimmy Pesto's is the worst pizza!" was great.

I died during the scene with Bob's family grabbing onto him, screaming, and refusing to let him go. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Bob: "Here's what you should do. You should just let the hostages go. Put the money down. And turn yourself in."
Loan Manager: "Almost as good as your 'What's Past Due?' argument."

Mickey: "Hey Bob, it's Mickey!"
Bob: "Oh, hey Mickey. How's jail?"
Mickey: "Terrible."

---

The first episode was a great start to the season, but this episode was just incredible on so many levels.

I loved the use of split screen throughout this whole ep.

This episode had me rolling! This show is hitting it's stride quickly. Last week wasn't as strong, but still a good beginning. But week 2 brought the funny very well!

I really like this show as well. And a bonus is picturing Sterling Archer during some of Bob's lines.

We need a BB/Archer mashup.

Bob's Burgers -- "Burgerboss" -- 4/01/12

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
By djariya at 2012-03-11

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Bob becomes obsessed with an old-school burger-flipping video game after Jimmy Pesto gets the high score and writes "BOB SUX" on the leader board in the all-new "Burgerboss" episode of BOB'S BURGERS airing Sunday, April 1 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BOB-203) (TV-14 D, L, V)

Episode 4 of 9

Just as I suspected. 22 episodes are being produced, but only 9 will air this season since the show launched so late. The remaining 13 will be saved for next season.

Re: Bob's Burgers -- "Burgerboss" -- 4/01/12

Great episode. I really love this show. Sucks that they're doing a split season, but at least the show got a second season at all. Tons of laughs tonight.

Gene: "That's the song I want to lose it to."

Loise: "He had sex, then we happened! Deal with it!"

Bob and the kids walking in with party hats and chocolate cake on their faces, and Lynn still believing they were at a sailing class was great. I also loved Bob on drugs, thinking he was in the video game and chasing the kid.

"Band on the Bun Burger (Comes with Wings)"

I thought Aziz Ansari was a good guest star as the voice of Daryl.

Very impressed with the streak this show is on. Very clever gags and the animation seems to be getting better. Voice talent is always tops.

I like the extras: the commentaries (for all the episodes) and from what I can tell a couple of the episodes are extended versions.

I don't watch this often but when I do it's usually great, this was no exception. Even the little visual gags were great "Chorizo Your Own Adventure Burger"

I love watching for the special burger of the day jokes. Plus, rare cartoon continuity with the ice cream machine still there from last week.

I really enjoy this show.
