FYI, if you plan to record this Sunday night, pad your DVR due to NFL Playoffs on FOX which could run long.

I'm hoping this will be good. I do love my Sunday nights with Family Guy, the Cleveland Show, & American Dad although this one appears to be replacing one of them.

Created by Loren Bouchard (Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist; Home Movies) and starring H. Jon Benjamin (Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist; Home Movies)? I'm in.

Definitely recognized the voices from Home Movies, looks to be in the same vein of humor. Will check it out tonight.

H. John Benjamin is keeping busy this winter with this and Archer (later this month). I'll be tuning in.

The only part that made me laugh was at the beginning when he was talking to the kids. Not very good.

First half was quite funny, then it kind of ran out of steam. I liked the kid with the megaphone the best.

I didn't like it all...I thought it had something going out of the gate but then it just ran out steam quickly.

I just hope this goes the way of "The Sons of Tuscon" so "American Dad!" can return to continue to outshine "FG" and "TCS" and might garner it more mainstream respect.

Meh.

This is up the caliber of a show on Comedy Central that wouldn't last a season. Animation is not up to the standards of the other shows on Fox Animation Sunday (flash, I'm sure).

Not one laugh. That's bad.

I am in agreement with all the mehs.

Some amusing stuff, but a lot of dull parts.

This was alright, but I expected more based on the talent involved. We'll see if it gets better - if it even lasts long enough to.

I hadn't planned on watching this, but found it funny enough that I added a season pass for it.

re: Bob's Burgers (FOX) -- Series Thread

I didn't find this really funny, but I didn't like the first episode of "Sit Down, Shut Up" and that became a favorite of mine. So I'll give it a few more chances.

bralph, is adding a season pass any different that setting your DVR to record all new episodes? I'm not familiar with Tivo functionality? Does it give you anything extra?

re: Bob's Burgers (FOX) -- Series Thread

Add me to the Meh category.

I was excited to hear that this was supposed to be like "home movies" but I quickly lost interest 1/2 way through... and found my self FF to watch Family Guy.
