Damn it! I've missed Craig the past couple of weeks and I missed Mila & a puppet sketch!

Glad to see more people realizing what I've been saying all along that Craig is by far the best talk show talent on TV.

Unlike you Skinny Chasers I don't discriminate. Plus for me, it has always been about her eyes, face and Hair.

Loved the ending. She's up there with K. Bell with Craig.

Yup, it's all about the eyes. There are a ton of hot chicks out there, but her eyes put her on the next level. To me, Rachel Bilson and Mila Kunis are identical, except for the eyes.

I don't want to veer into Otter material here, but this does touch on one more reason I enjoy Craig Ferguson. When he expresses his thoughts on America, they always feel sincere--and not the kind of hollow, pandering remarks we're used to from all the other talking heads (be they politicians or cable news commentators, etc.). I respect, and appreciate, that.

Incidentally, if you really want to catch a great patriotic speech, you should check out the one he gave in Boston that's included as a bonus feature on his Wee Bit o' Revolution DVD.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

You know, I love Craig. Really, I love him to death. I'm no prude but he's starting to remind me of a guy I went to school with who made EVERYTHING into a dirty joke. At first it was hilarious because we never had guy like this around us. But after a while it became annoying because we realized we had to edit ourselves when speaking in class just to avoid this guy's potential laugh or disruptive outburst. I've even noticed in Craig's interviews where people start watching what they say a few minutes in. Rosie Perez kinda called him out on it and said,"Either you're oversexed or undersexed" because everything she said was turning into something dirty.

"King of the Hill" even had an ep like this where a new guy at the Propane place was the same way.

That said, Craig is still the best thing on late night TV.

Yeah, but that's the whole point. The show is 100% about having fun and making people (himself in particular) laugh. It's not like he's making poop jokes that interrupt a history lesson or important workplace business.

On the other hand, I've never heard another host mention literature or poetry or get as serious as Craig can. That's one thing that makes him really unique is he'll listen to and roll along with interesting conversations, but then turn on the silliness as soon as the guest overly pushes their project or starts to get boring.

There are times when Craig's monologues and interviews remind me of Tom Snyder's tenure as host of The Late Late Show--and I mean that in the most appreciative way. I enjoy that I don't have to endure the obligatory, forced back and forth about how great so-and-so's new movie or TV series is, and how delightful it was to make, etc. Sometimes, the only reference to that new project at all is the clip shown prior to the guest even walking on set! Even though we are asked to endure some recreations of fifth grade periodically, I think it's worth the trade.

Man, I loved that show. If you haven't already, you should check out the 1997 interviews with Quentin Tarantino and David Lynch on youtube. (The quality's not great, but the interviews are).
