Do you have a link to this list? I'd be interested to see it.

Whoops, it was talk show appearances. I guess those don't count.

Heads up, Mila Kunis is on, tonight. Her last interview was awesome, I'm sure it will be more of the same.

Craig's monologue tonight is the reason why his show is the only late night show I watch... it was brilliant and he ended it so perfectly.

Yep. And it's the reason why I don't give a shit about the clusterfuck over at NBC (except to the extent it gives Craig some comedy material).

Also, don't actresses seem to look sexier when they're on Craig's show? I mean, damn, did Mila Kunis look hot last night.

Mila Kunis looks great all the time. It's funny, I always compare her with Bilson since they look similar to me, but Kunis wins 100 times out of 100.

Yeah great monologue last night.

I never watched Ferguson too often in the past (probably due in large part to my hatred of Letterman, so CBS wasn't on), but have started to much more now and he's my new favorite.

The awkward silence was comedy gold.

She's easily one of my ten favorite guests to watch on this show. As someone with Crohn's disease, I was particularly drawn to her appreciation of the $10k toilet. As someone who's a tad turned off by selfish lavishness, I respect that even though she could afford one, she won't pay that kind of money for one. And as someone who respects creativity, I love that she bashed the price while still pleading for a sponsorship deal to promote the toilet as a means of acquiring one for free.

I just realized that only in this thread would such a paragraph exist. I love Craig Ferguson!

She sure did love that toilet (other than the price).

I always feel somewhat bad when guests bring a new mug for Craig, because they're always going to pale in comparison to his love for the snake mug. I bet Mary McCormack never thought her silly gift would become a show fixture...

Mila Kunis is definitely one of Craig's better guest. We should make a list of great guests on his show:

--Jim Parsons

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

He's really getting better and better. I wish I could stay up more often, but he just killed last night. He was killing even before Mila came out and the two of them were amazing together. That's what people should get to see more of on late night. When you have something that good going on, let it go for the full hour. I mean, she's smoking hot, of course, so that doesn't hurt one bit, but the two just seem to have great comedic chemistry and it was a joy to watch and I only wished they could do a week of that.

I think he's the best right now. At 11:30 pm, everyone tones it down a bit, so I don't know if that could ever work, say, replacing Letterman, but give Craig some more money to work with and promote that. The guy is getting very good at what he does and there's really nothing his brand of late night. Occasionally he gets off track and does too much talking, but most of the time his interviews seem to be the best.

What would be nice would be to stop blowing the Daily Show every year and give an Emmy to this guy...or Colbert. Maybe Craig. Then Stephen.

Jason Segel is somewhat of a fixture as well.

Ooh all good choices. The ongoing Betty White appearances/joke is classic.

I thought Jason and Craig last Friday was great! Especially when Craig started to tell his camping story and Jason lost it like 3 words into the story.

I only wish I'd started watching this show earlier in the run than I did. Craig is an absolute genius. I always enjoyed his spots on Drew Carey, but on his own, he's gold.

(Anyone ever seen his stand up? I'm sure it's online, but I'd love to see him live. I can only imagine.)

He said in an interview (ew?) about a year back that he only wanted to do this roughly 5 more years and call it quits. Of course money and Letterman's desk will be awfully hard to turn down if they come a callin'.

I'd add Ewan McGregor to the favorite guests list.

Yeah, it's one thing to say he'll leave, it's another to actually walk away when the time comes and he realizes he has to give up a seven figure salary. Plus, having this show gives him a platform that I'm sure helps sell his books and standup shows.

Anyone catch last night's cold open? Wavy came back to offer his advice for the late-night conundrum.

Aside from Betty White, this would be pretty much my list as well. I really like when he has authors on, which I find interesting (although usually not funny).
