Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
I should really buy some blank VHS tapes and record the final shows. I'm really going to miss Craig.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Yes, Ariel Tweto who was listed as being on next Tuesday's show. Bell isn't on the current TheTVDB listings, but I'm sure she will be before the end. I say they just bump Leno and put her on.

Has Letterman announced a final date yet?
Also Colbert's final 11 shows including tonight.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
I've never really liked Colbert. Maybe its just his character from The Colbert Report but still just something about him I don't care for. I'm not al that thrilled with him taking over The Late Show. At least his fans will get him back soon enough even if he won't be in character like he is now.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
While Leno is a little bit of an odd choice for the last guest, it at least makes some sense, but why is the next to last one just Jim Parsons? Has he been on the show that much? I think I remember him being on, but I don't hardly think of him as being one of the 'friends of the show' the way people like Kristen Bell, Larry King and Angela Kinsey are.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Craig seems to respect Jay quite a bit but yeah I don't really quite understand why he's the final guest. I'd have rather seen him and Dave sit down together before they both leave late night personally.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
I don't know how much of a relationship he and Dave have. I do know that Letterman's photo was one of the photos on the mantel on Craig's first day in the new studio. It was gone by the next show.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
I can't even remember the last time Letterman himself made mention that Craig's show was on next. It's always been Allen Coulter to announce that just before the Worldwide Pants logo. Dave used to to do it.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Craig used to acknowledge Dave every now and again as the boss (which I guess he is) but I guess that's about all. I think Craig also was a guest on The Late Show a time or two. I wonder if they had some kind of falling out or if they just aren't close.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Pure speculation, but I would say it's more likely the latter. Regis was on Letterman a few weeks ago, and they started talking about Craig's show wrapping up in a few weeks. Dave has a long standing relationship with the Late Late Show Producer Peter Lassally, who they phoned on-air during the segment.

Only ten episodes left.
I bought some blank VHS tapes specially for the last couple of weeks and am going to record the remainder of the show. I really hope Craig and company do another show at some point in the future.

Bummed the fireside chat w/ Kristen only lasted a few minutes.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Craig's final show should have Angela Lansbury, Paul McCartney, Sean Connery, Pat Sajak, Kim Kardashian, Kenny Rogers, Michael Caine and Tom Petty. The rabbit puppet should open the show.
Actually, I hope he just does a regular show with him sitting at the desk at the end giving us his final thoughts.
It's going to be hard not having this show on every week.

I wonder if there will be more fireside chats with Kristen Bell, they way they had a few of them with Shatner before.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
So during tonight's episode Craig sort of alluded to the idea that he might do another show someday during his interview with Kunal Nayyar. Maybe it means nothing but I know there's been some speculation that he might do another show at some point. All I have to say is fingers crossed.

Well sadly we're in the last week. Last night's episode was really good, Hamm and Meadows are always good guests. Fuck am I going to miss this show.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Strangely, the future host, James Corden, will be the lead guest on tonight's Late Night with Seth Meyers but not at all on Craig's show.
