Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

I've missed some shows in the last month or so, so when did he start doing the Secretariat dance? I've seen Alison Brie, Sophia Bush, and Kerry Washington do it with him, anyone else interesting I miss?

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

Kerry Washington doing the Secretariat dance.

Kerry: "and I thought you'd want to to share with everybody that you were a woman of color." Craig: "Oh! Well in a way I am."

Craig: "So Geoff, when you interrupted me I felt that you disrespected me you bony little fuck!"

Craig: "Coming to a region near you means it's not coming to your house. It's coming to a house near your house."

Craig: "If you want to make a Scotsman invisible you give him a talk show on CBS at 12:30am. You'll never hear from him again."

Craig: "I wouldn't eat indian food at home. At home we would eat traditional Scottish fare. You know; gravel, mud, bitterness."

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

Just got caught up today on last week's shows. I've been meaning to post for awhile now that Craig doing the Secretariat dance (and the music) is one of the funnier skits on the show. He just gets so into it, you can help but infectiously laugh.

And Kerry Washington doing the dance..... DAMN, why did Craig have to let her ring the bell the 2nd time?

(The Venezuelan chick Friday night wasn't bad either.)

I love the Secretariat dance. I do the Secretariat dance when he does it. It's just fun doing the dance because it's so bad. I love how all the guests do the dance too. I'd love to be part of the audience.

Craig: "of course I don't like pineapple chunks on my pizza. Do I look like a gay Hawaiian?"

Craig: "There is nothing worse then a chapped blowwhole."

Craig: "How long have you been actually on the show as a regular member or troop of traveling players." (talking to Bridger)

Geoff: "CBS commercials bring solace." Craig: "Are you pushing for a commercial break early?" Geoff: "Yup!"

Sid: "It's the most pointless Oh! I've ever heard in my life. Oh, he won't be here? then who's that bloke that fucking looks like him!"

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

Conan O'Brien is a good addition to the show. He and Craig have shown great chemistry so far.

...and didn't that Swiss guy remind anyone of Christopher Nolan?

Awesome week as usual.

Russell Crowe and Goldblum are on this week. Should be great!

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread

Last nights episode was awesome! I dont watch Doctor Who, but Im tempted to start watching after his appearance on Ferguson. I love how even the audience is dancing to the "Secretariat" bit.

Craig is the only host that I've seen Russell Crowe actually sort of let loose with. He makes him seem like less of a douche than he really is.

Crowe is always one of Craig's best guests. Ruessell even did the fucking Secretariat dance! He was a litte shy about doing it but he did it. Craig always seems to get the guest doing crazy things and gets them out of press tour mode.

Russell Crowe: "Remember you haven't paid for this so when it's disappointing you've really got nothing to complain about."

Sid: "I don't know if you know this but Owls like to attack rabbits and eat them. I look forward to your letters people who know that's not actually true."

Craig: "If I wanted to see some C grade celebrity dancing badly I'd look in a fucking mirror." (talking about Dancing With the Stars)

Craig: "Think of me as Scottish Drew Carey."

Craig: "I think people like this show because at least you get to see another human being experience crushing disappointment."

Dr. Who night was fucking hilarious:

Craig: "you're the doctor and everything but leave my fucking cup alone." (talking to Matt Smith)

Craig: "This TV show Dr. Who has been close to my heart since I was a young girl."

Craig: "It would be really annoying if your actual doctor could only speak in rhymes. To read your file I need my spectacles. Now pull down your pants & show me your testicles."

Craig: "Hey! Guess what? What strange creepy man on TV? I'll tell you imaginary viewer. Do they count in the Nielsen's; imaginary viewers. Cause if they do we're kicking everybody's ass. It's a great day for America everybody!"

that Dr. Andrews interview was classic. Ben great as always and great performance by The Very Best.

Craig: "You know how I'm on the tweety box now and again... Well and sometimes I go on Twitter as well."

Craig: "if you're going to steal from a show what about a good show like Lost or The Wire or something like that. Don't steal from this show. That's like taking pants from a hobo."

Craig: "Very sad news for the Minnesota Vikings. They fired their Head Coach. It's very sad. The worst part the news was texted to him by Brett Faaavraa."

Craig: "I supposed they could've seen both. Harry Potter and me. You make it a double bill. First the gay wizard with the enormous magic wand and then Harry Potter."
