Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
A nice, eclectic lineup this week:
Monday: George Hamilton, Eddie Izzard on tweets (und also emails!)
Tuesday: Jeffrey Tambor, comedian Drew Thomas
Wednesday: Julie Chen
, Paula Poundstone
Thursday: Paris Hilton, author Alex Dryden, comedian Fred MacAulay
Friday: Mark Wahlberg, Jacinda Barrett
(I really wish Craig would do another hourlong, audience-less show, this time with Eddie Izzard.)

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
I'd bring an 8x10 photo or I remember you could print something out and when you put it together it looks like Geoff Peterson. I'm not sure where to look for that, though. I think Grant Imahara made it so you could print it out and put it together.
One of Craig's books would be a great thing for him to sign. I sent a letter telling him what a huge fan of the show I was and he sent me a really cool 8x10 autographed photo. If you don't get a chance to get his autograph just try sending him a letter to the show.

Spoiler:
I knew it was posted in this thread. I think I'm going to have to do this. It would look awesome next to my HDTV.

Strangely, his Shark Week episode is already available to watch on the Discovery Channel's website:

I was watching Kick Ass last night and really liked his little cameo. As soon as i heard him say "its a great day for america" i kind of yelled out 'oh shit' Its essentially him from the show commenting on the Kick Ass youtube video which in the movie had gone viral. Was very cool to see. I assume Matthew Vaughn the director was a fan

The intros Thu. & Fri. were great. (Accidental emails and no party invite.)
Mark Wahlberg was kind of an uncomfortable guest (not necessarily him being uncomfortable, but definitely uncomfortable for the flow of the show). Whether it was because he is unfamiliar with the Late, Late Show or just doesn't get/like Craig's sense of humor, it just seemed a little rough, particularly at the beginning.
Overall, another great week. Just bought Between the Bridge and the River, yesterday. Can't wait to get into it!

IMO, Wahlberg is never a good guest, regardless of what he is doing. He's a tough guy that can't seem to understand how to give a good interview.
The whole party thing and accidental emails were awesome though. Can you imagine writing a message with everything that you wanted to say to someone when you were angry with them, and saving them up to do it all at once? Not good.
Poor Colin.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Another brilliant week of shows as always.
Craig: "now I'm not even sure what the plot is in these movies but I think good bet in Step Up 3 they'll be moves busted, and some hippin' and some hoppin' and some poppin' and loggin' and poopin'"
Craig: "maybe you're making an ironic statement about the tired format in which you work. Or maybe you're just lacking in material."
Craig: "I look forward to your letters. Except yours, Unabomber."
Craig: "This is the first time we've ever had foreigners on this show."
Craig: "you need instructions on how to hold a paper cup. Then you're a fucking moron."
I
so hard when he put lyrics to the Hawaii Five-O theme. "So we're in Hawaii, chasing some bad guys, then we get some hookers"

Loved Izzard reading the tweets and e-mails with Craig.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
OK, I just watched it now, but no one else loved the discussion between Craig and Lindsey Sloane about Andrew Zimmern's poop/poop in general? A great segment in general, but that was top notch!
Also, because of some glitch last night (or maybe just my stupidity), I lost Tuesday night's show. Anyone else see it? Anything worth looking up on Youtube? Thanks for any help.

God Craig is always so damn entertaining!! The whole week has been great again and Maggie was fun and looking great tonight. The part at the beginning with Geoff saying "Hello Craig" and Craig responding "Hello Geoff" back and how Geoff kept cutting him off mid sentence had me laughing for some reason. Its always the little things that make this show so good. Just goofy fun.

^Geoff has been such a great addition. Ever since they found the right way to integrate him into the show, Craig seems to have a newfound enthusiasm. The Georg Takei voice is genius.

Emma Thompson needs to be added to the official Best Guests list. What a fun interview! She was looking pretty amazing, too.
Good to see Wavy return.

Fuck the PGA because it pushed Craig to 1:07a and off topic but still related, Fuck pre-season football because it pushed my Family Guy reruns on KTLA to 3:30a.
Fuck Sports in general....
I've been looking forward to Emma all week.
I LOVE her interviews because she just lets go and has fun. Letterman, Leno, Craig, and others all get 110% from her.

Re: The Craig Ferguson Appreciation Thread
Another brilliant week of shows as always. Great guests (Duchovny, Emma, Maggie, etc.) and Craig continues to be the best interviewer on TV.
Sid: "Don't fucking patronize me."
Craig: "I'm a lot cheaper than a rerun of MacGyver."
Craig: "I'm still sitting at my desk. I'm still sitting at my desk." picks up the e-mails than throws them away again.
Geoff: "Who are you?" Craig: "I'm just a boy looking at a skeleton trying to figure out how to express my feelings."
Craig: (about Justin Timberlake) "He was coming back from a long day of bringing sexy back."
Geoff: "Attention! Paging doctor funny"
Craig: "I'm a man. Thanks for laughing."
Craig: "It was almost as if the people backstage had come to life."
Craig: "I hate it during the summer when the college kids come in here with their knowing about things. Judging me; a high school dropout."
Craig: "Don't let him spray your genitals. Unless you've got an infestation."
Craig: "You must remember this; if you take anything away from this show, ever, remember this; we genuinely don't give a fuck."

Caught up with some episodes over the weekend, and thought that the one with Emma Thompson was great, especially considering how red she turned when Craig made a joke that basically said that they'd slept together before (I think that they did, but who knows for sure?).
