Unless people were buying extra copies, I'd say no. Otherwise, they were simply buying a product they liked.

How many letters have you written? How many DVDs have you bought?

Buying DVDs is certainly a fan action.

Yikes, this new scoring method of bonus points opens yet another door for debate.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Well, the new Sheep rule has already made its impact! What a stunning development for this new rule. The most common answers was not the highest-scoring!

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

That's just silly. The question didn't state anything about there needing to be a coordinated effort to bring the show back. The show was canceled and then brought back because Fox realized the support the show had from fans (in the most important way possible to a studio, $$$).

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

While our Family Guy answerers ponder this new Sheep development, let's move on to

Question 2: S: Who was the least annoying member of the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NX-01? (note: Porthos was not a member of the crew)

I had no idea what this question meant.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

It was obvious who did not watch Enterprise...

The Bus, for his answer of Porthos, gets 0 points.

He was cute, though:

Hopefully people (besides Tracer) thought with their other head for this one.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I never watched the show, so I answered with the only character whose name I could remember.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

And now for Red Dog's answer.

I thought by his comment that he answered T'Pol. He did not.

He answered...

Doctor Phlox (-2)

Red Dog
NORML54601

Spoiler:
Just kidding. They answered Hoshi.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Hoshi? Much as I got to like her.. she was easily the mosty annoying; what, with all her constant whining about being in space or scared or whatever.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I'm still honestly confused about how there can even be any debate about Family Guy for question 1.

Was it canceled? Yes
Was it brought back? Yes
Was the decision to bring it back based on fan action? Yes

Just because the intent of buying the DVDs wasn't to bring the show back doesn't diminish the fact that that was the end result.

Apparently people didn't think with either of their heads.

We're starting to see some separation, but it's still anyone's game.
