Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Actually, nevermind...I thought this was just for TNG. Never watched the original series and just started DS9, so I wouldn't do well here.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Looks like a good line-up. Should be a fun one.

But... unfortunately... someone has already won a Dunce Award

For numbering his answers, kvrdave gets a 10-point penalty.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Question 1: S: The Original Series was canceled in 1968, but a letter-writing campaign convinced NBC to renew it for a third (and final) season. Name another television series that was brought back through fan action.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

There were five answers for this question. 3 of them were bad.

There are still 4 lights.

Another terrible answer was Roswell, given by Fist of Doom. 0 points.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

That leaves us with two answers. Which was better: Jericho, or Family Guy?

It took some thinking on my part since I've never seen my answer... I just remembered the peanuts thing.

I thought Family Guy returned due to strong DVD sales. Y'all are dumb.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

"First off, there was the countdown to the season premiere of "Family Guy," the animated Fox sitcom, which had been canceled in 2002, only to be revived after the show's DVD sales and its syndicated ratings caught the network's attention."

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

So does that mean Family Guy is a wrong answer and the rest of us get extra points?

Are buying DVDs not "fan action"? Seems like ponying up the cash means more than writing letters.

Oooh... The Bus is right. This makes all other sheep answers worth an extra -7 points!

The Sheepmaster does not consider buying DVDs to be "fan action". Was there a coordinated fan effort to drive Family Guy DVD sales up?
