I almost put him but I figured Hoshi was a better answer since she wasn't annoying and she was hot.

Darn it, how did someone else pick Founder, but not Betazoid?

I'd also let the half-stuff slide.

So far the vote is 2-1 against counting half-humans as correct answers. Anyone else want to weigh in?

I vote no, but I'm also feeling a bit vindictive at the moment so you might want to throw my vote out.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I'd think if you told B'Elanna that she couldn't be counted as Klingon, she may not be too happy. Or Spock that he's not Vulcan...

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

We're now 3-1. I'm going to rule brainee's and Suprmallet's answers as wrong pending a further ruling.

So if a question asked for a non-Vulcan and you answered Spock, would that be a right answer?

This means that wrong answers are worth 5 points. No one got a unique bonus.

Growing Up Cardassian is not a Star Trek show.

They shouldn't be wrong. If you asked a biologist what species Spock was, the right answer isn't Vulcan ... it's Vulcan-human hybrid. Whether Spock would get offended or not has no bearing on the answer. I looked up a bunch of Trek info sites, and these characters are always listed as hybrids for their species.

It would be wrong.

Blame the wording of the question, but that's what we're stuck with. Non is the equivalent of zero. Half /= zero.

Hmm.. good counter-point. In the context of a game, it makes it a hard argument. Really though, in the end I'd go with how they're mostly portrayed. To the average person who doesn't know Trek, Spock *is* a Vulcan.

Like I said though, going with nit-picky game rules, it's a hard call.

Which is why it's a good answer to choose for a reverse sheep question, right?

I hope you did that after you submitted your answers.
