Your lack of cooperation has displeased Ryan Reynolds.

A hologram as I understand it is a projected image with some computer programming behind it. I'd agree it is not a species.

Androids and other non-carbon organisms that actually live are species if you ask me. Take for instance the big spaceship-sized creature that sucked the 1701-D's power until they "soured the milk". Species.

Though I don't see how you can lump in androids with spaceship sized creatures. If anything, I'd think androids are grouped with holograms - non-organic, so not a species (and don't give me Trek technobabble about organic components in Data's neural network). The definition of "species" is a little fuzzy. But one thing that seems pretty accepted is that its a biological term. Every biological organism has a species to which it belongs. Even some sort of Frankenstein's monster, which would be part of a new species.

It seems to me the problem is that the spaceship sized creature is almost certainly not organic, but I think it has to be a species because the show itself treats it as such. I don't think carbon can be the decider here.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I'm just goofing around with the images because that's the part I like best about sheep.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I'll only be doing Sports Sheep for another hour. With Mr. Bullet AWOL, I assume he will start this sometime after his lunch (so 1:30PM EDT or thereabouts).

I was about to start, but with Sports running I'll delay for another hour.
