Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I'm in as well. Hopefully I do better on this than I did on the last comic book sheep.

#18 is the only one I felt was all that bad. I just validated my answer to the last one and feel pretty satisfied.

I have 15 sets of entries so far. If I get 15 today, we'll definitely start tomorrow.

Later on I'll be posting a list of people that played Round 1 that haven't yet sent in answers.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Here's a query to tide you all over until the game starts:

do holograms count as a species?

Hell no.

But it does count as one of the dumbest Trek ideas ever.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I would definitely say a hologram is not a species. Although I would say the Borg are, so take that as you will!

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

How about we get an official definition of species before game begins? Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm still scratching my head on the Borg decision. If Borg aren't a species, then I would say things like holograms, androids, nanites, etc. aren't either.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Holograms are absolutely not a species. Neither are androids, robots, or any other kind of artificial life-form that may have appeared on the show.

However, chickens are a species, so if they ever fired their weapons on a ship crewed by chickens, that would be a good answer.

I just sent in my (admittedly awful) answers. Somebody has to come in last!

That one's my fault. I was being cleverly stupid (or stupidly clever) by giving an answer that satisfies the first part of the question, but up for contention on the second part. But not so stupid as to preemptively include an alternate answer.

I believe all contact with the Kay'ephsee have been peaceful.
