Just thinking about it logically. They probably have a large number of press and crazy people following them around now. They can't really hang around their old friends without bringing that madness to them or flying them out to where they are and that probably isn't doable.

So I caught the new episodes and I have to say one positive thing is it looks like Kate pulled part of that large stick out, that is up her butt. She seems more grounded, trying new things, etc. and actually lettting the kids have as many smores as they wanted. I know before she would've complained or told Jon not to feed those to the kids because of the sugar. Before and even now to a lesser extent, she always came of as that "holier than thou, diluting the kids juice with water" type of moms. Seems the kids are adapting, as they will do, but ofcourse we don't see any of the behind the scenes stuff.

I watched as well but didn't feel like bumping this thread so I'm glad you did it for me.

The main thing that stood out to me: In the first episode Kate was talking about her best fried and I was surprised because they haven't shown any of their friends for the last couple of seasons. Then in the next sentence she says she's married to a cabinet manufacture and it all made complete sense. More freebies.

this show is the biggest snoozefest on tv.

what would be fun is a revamped show without the kids based on kate banging her bodyguard & jon banging anyone with a pulse.

Why is this show going on in this state? The premise isn't even the same as it used to be. Are people that hard up for this type of show?
