If you truly don't give a shit then why did you open and read the thread? Never mind that you actually took the time to post a response! You obviously have some interest in the topic, regardless of your response.

Personally, I don't particularly care, but I know that my wife likes the show so I thought I would see what the latest was.

My hope is that they quit the show and work on their marriage rather than exploiting their family for monetary gain.

I'm going for quitting the show. I think they might be announcing that they are backing out of their contract in order to give their kids a more normal life (as much as that can be at this time) and to give Jon and Kate time to figure out what went wrong. I really hope it isn't divorce.

I don't watch but I was wondering how far in advance is this show filmed? I'm getting the sense that the episodes are very current, like one or two weeks ago.
