Slightly off topic but, who's the better "bad-ass" Sayid or Jack Bauer? The one thing Sayid has over Jack is that he gets way more pussy.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but wasn't it said during the episodes where Jack performed the surgery on Ben that the island was no longer healing Ben? I can't remember if that was just a theory or if something like that was actually said on the show.

That's going to be a stretch to have the newbie janitor recruited to do surgery on a young boy. Juliet got away with the delivery of Ethan since both she and Sawyer had been there for 3 years and there was trust.
No way is Sawyer going suggest Jack for that. Nor do I think Jack would step up to save Ben without prodding by Faraday who "isn't there". |

I can't imagine that Jack would volunteer to save Young Ben no matter what. Plus as has been said, the guy's aptitude test said the job he was most qualified for was workman. That isn't going to inspire anyone is it?

Remember when Ben first got caught and was imprisoned in the hatch? He gave them a fake name. What if Ben isn't really his real name? What if he lied when they told everyone his name was Ben? What if he's really Ethan? Ben Linus is actually Ethan and the kid Sayid killed is really the Ethan we know. Everything Ben says can't be taken as truth, even his name.

I think it was pretty obvious that Ben hired the bounty hunter to bring in Sayid. Just because she didn't know who Ben was, really doesn't mean anything.
I like that other theory about Ben killing Penny to bring Desmond back to the island. |

The producers would have also seriously cheated us that way, so I hope that's not the way they have gone. This would have meant that they actually showed us Ethan flashbacks during Ben episodes to mislead us. |
