well, they frame for the 16x9 =. if you notice for most shows, they frame it for 4x3 and have the sides of the screen either blank or the sides of someones shoulder in the frame.

But in The Office, I don't think Pam is the only attractive employee. Angela is actually very pretty when she smiles and Kelly can be cute as well. The only ones that aren't lookers are Meredith and Phylis.
yeah kelley is a hottie too. pam is def the top of the line in that office though. i bet meredith is an animal in bed though. well at least how her character is portraid.

Scranton is about 2 hours max away from NYC. It would not be hard for pam to visit even after work for an art exhibit.

On the contrary. Most of us agree she's not all that and are trying to understand the fascination with her.

No kidding... that was horrible. I said last week that I'd give My Name Is Earl one episode before I was finished with it and that just put it over the top. I'm done with it, for good. The first season was hilarious, but it imploded in on itself after that.

Staying on topic, a new bunch of webisodes starts November 20 (Creed's in them!):

Why are you trying to understand? Some people just don't have the same taste as you, is that so weird?
Watch The Office for the great comedy it is and then go look at someone you think is hot afterwards.

This is shaping up to be the best season of the Office. Last season came arguably the closest to the tone of the original (i.e. so uncomfortable it'd screw your face up more than sucking on a lemon), but it did so at the expense of its own logic and by making Michael go from inept to, quite possibly, mentally challenged. Also, all 4 of the hour-long eps that opened the season were outrageously funny for exactly the length of a normal episode, then lost it in the extended section. I thought it marked the jumping of the shark, but the writers pulled out all the stops for this season. The tension in Jim and Pam's long distance relationship is real and unforced; Michael is back to be charming and clueless without acting like he's on a four camera sitcom; and it's mixing OG Office levels of discomfort with the lighter side that the American version offers.

And it has Creed as the Joker. I rest my case.

And Kevin (though he's just kind of creepy about it rather than really trying to date her). And Ryan.

I think this was the best episode of this season, so far.

One thing I really liked that hasn't been mentioned yet was the basic "Mystery Story" aspect as Jim deduced from the mugs that Kelly was guilty of falsifying the client reviews. (They set it up so well, that I believed the reviews were real and he really was too "smudge" with clients.)

I agree, though it seems like every episode is better than the last this season.

EXACTLY. I bought it hook, line and sinker and didn't even realize the significance of the coffee cups at first until he was frantically going through the cupboards.

As long as they don't try to push a romance with Pam and that art dude (let him tempt her to stay in New York, but please don't make Pam out to be some whore who constantly cheats on her fiancé), this could not only be a comeback for the show, but the best show of the year.

This was a stellar episode and my favourite since the Season 2 finale. This season of the Office has really gotten the show back on track. Here's hoping they can keep it up.

thats how this the past 3 episodes have been for me, I live in Grand Rapids MI and thought it was the local feed. its like your getting the Widescreen HD Feed but you are watching it on a SD normal tv so you lose stuff on the sides and sometimes the characters are talking and they are off screen.

I have DVR'd the whole season and up until last week's episode was in widescreen, but this week it was full screen, I have the dish network as my provider. Like anyone that has a clue I prefer the widescreen format

Why is Jenna not in "The Office"? Is she filming a movie?

She is filming Solitary Man, but she has been in this season quite a bit for being in NYC. I think the main reason for her being in NYC this season is more for a new dynamic to the show than for Fischer's schedule.

Agreed. She was in these last two as much as any other episode.

That little exchange was dropped in the middle of Dwight's conspiracy talk and he didn't miss a beat in answering. As others have said, the little things really make the show.
Not to mention:

Dwight: Who stands to benefit from our downfall?
Jim: The mob... maybe NASA.
Dwight: Could be the mob. But then Dunder-Mifflin would need to be a front for money laundering, and there's little evidence of that.
Jim: Is there some evidence?

Was Toby the guy on the phone "just trying to buy some paper" when Dwigt was thinking he was being spied on?

Do you think the customer was pissed when he found out he was talking to an actor from a fictional paper company and wasn't going to get actual paper?

Obviously he meant if the customer's voice was given by the actor that plays Toby.
