The phone scene was way too hilarious.

I thought Michael's reason for not punishing Kelly was touching.

Easily the best bit for me:

Dwight kicks at Phyllis' head. That was hilarious!

Um...you would be wrong.

I do like that they aren't playing up the "Jim jealous" angle and keeping it more of a conversation about what they are going to do next as a couple. More mature than what you typically get on TV (and real life for that matter.)

You're right. Only guys with good taste have a thing for her.

I'm a straight woman, and I can see why men would find Jenna Fischer adorable and appealing. She has the kind of sexiness where she doesn't have to try.

I also thought this episode was one of their best. It's the little touches that make this show what it is. I totally bought why Michael didn't punish Kelly, and it humanised Michael and Kelly. I like the less obnoxious Michael so much better. The phone call to his mother was a highlight as well.

My only concern is that the Andy and Angela relationship is going on way too long.

Great episode, the phone scene was fantastic
Don't forget what I consider the punchline of that entire bit:

"Michael, I'm just-"

"And there's our smudgness!"

I also agree that his explanation to Kelly was touching. It also had one of the funniest lines that was very basic, it was just the way he said it. Talking about making guacamole:

"I don't even know why I make it in such great quantities."

I also liked Jim putting together micro and management for Michael. Microgement!

Jim telling Dwight he was right, Dwight got so freakin' excited, and then almost instantly got serious and goes "let's get her", and Jim holding him back.

Just tons of great stuff in this one.

"I was raped!"

Like almost always, to me the greatest parts of the show are the small details/jokes.

Michael sympathizes because he has so much trouble getting people to socialize with him. I'm sure he secretly wishes he could lash out in some way to get vindication but that's countered by his overpowering need to be liked by people he thinks are "cool".

Did Kelly even invite Michael to her party? I thought for sure that Kelly would be punished at least a little when we saw Michael's World's Greatest Boss mug instead of the star/head one.

I thought the Kelly angle was going to be her trying to get rid of Jim or Dwight to get Ryan their job.

And the Dwigth/Angela/Andy storyline just keeps getting better and better.

Loved this episode as well. The Buttlicker scene was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Don't forget Jim taking Andy's mug, and saying it didn't look like his.

When they first showed Andy's mug, I remarked to my friend, "I've got to get one of those if they sell them." I checked the NBC store mid-episode and sure enough...

http://www.nbcuniversalstore.com/det...nbc_the-office

The question now is: do I get the one featuring Andy, Stanley, or Creed?

Well, they're selling a Michael mug (and Pam, Dwight and Jim aren't offered), so I assume that he was at the party.

I found this to be the funniest episode since the first season. It certainly let me overlook the weekly Jim and Pam 'drama' moment.

Dwight's the only character I actually like on the show, and it's great to see him used in broader capacities.

I loved it when Dwight was trying to convince Michael not to fire him, only to have Michael counter w/ the fact that it was a $1m sale.

Dwight almost kicking Phyllis in the head was great, too.

This ep has a lot of repeat value.

If I had $90 to spend on a mug I would get the Creed. Because well Creed is the best character after all.

Ha ha. That link was for the whole set. They're $12 individually, which is still pricey for a mug. But I'm leaning toward Creed if I take the plunge.

I noticed, and thought it was one of the reasons this episode was so great. I think the British have a different idea with comedic timing, and the Phone conversation, the Kelly conversation, and some other interactions were just timed so much funnier.

One of my favorite moments is with Jim and Dwight in Dwight's car with Pam on the phone.

Jim (to Pam): How many shoes do you need?

Dwight: Two. Three if I wear one out. Why? How many do you need?

That little exchange was dropped in the middle of Dwight's conspiracy talk and he didn't miss a beat in answering. As others have said, the little things really make the show.

So far only Jim and Roy has/had a thing for her. You are completely misreading the Mad Men guy.

I didn't notice and now that it's been pointed out to me, I find the news bittersweet. I thought this was one of the best I've seen, at least in recent memory, and thought it was a positive thing for the entire show.

Now that I know that it had a little UK-Office influence, I'm sad to think it won't be a permanent improvement.

Great episode and I hope they find a way to keep it up.

Seconded. She was absolutely precious clapping her hands and bouncing up and down, "That's what she said. That's what she said. THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!!"

That might be one of my favorite moments from the show because of just how adorable she was.

One of my fav parts was the Jim/Ryan discussion about office politics. I love how Ryan still has his ego even after all that, "...I played for high stakes, I played for keeps."

Some more highlights.
Dwight picking up Jim all fast in the parking lot.
Andy being Andy.
Dwight paranoid on the phone with the customer.

Must get a Creed mug...
