This season has been nearly flawless so far... here's to them keeping it up!

Ravenous 11-06-08 02:35 PM

I hope this one doesnt suck.

Barings 11-06-08 04:12 PM

This looks to be a good episode. It's been a while since we've seen some good Jim/Dwight interaction since the former has been focused on Pam and the latter's attention has been focused on destroying Andy.

COACH2369 11-06-08 08:07 PM

So nobody can see Jim's Bluetooth?? lol...

gryffinmaster 11-06-08 08:13 PM

Okay, the Dwight / Jim / Michael phone bit was hilarious.

SuperBatMan 11-06-08 08:18 PM

Pam is too cute.

lordwow 11-06-08 08:21 PM

rotfl rotfl rotfl

I nearly pissed myself laughing so hard at the Jim/Dwight "phone" argument.

gryffinmaster 11-06-08 08:27 PM

There's the very good possibility that this might be one of my favorite episodes of The Office ... period.

Double_Oh_7 11-06-08 08:27 PM

OK, really, Pam is NOT so cute that every guy has a thing for her.

MrX 11-06-08 08:27 PM

"It says you are smudge and arrogant"

"That says smug"

"and there's the arrogance"

Great episode, the phone scene was fantastic

I wished Kelly would have actually been punished. After all she does (and doesn't, she can't work much) she needs to be put in her place imo. Michael just laughing it off didn't sit well with me, but I should have expected it. I also didn't like the JAM ending. I agree with Double_Oh_7 that not every guy will have a thing for her. And I also think he is out of his place talking to her, he's known her for what, 5-6 weeks? They are barely friends, he has no place telling her what she should do when she's engaged. I guess I'm just too nitpicky about the series.

The customer survey plot though was one of THE best plots they've had since season 2. The phone conversation was nothing short of amazing, "William H. Buttlicker" or whatever haha.

I agree, Michael laughing it off ended up being an easy choice, it would've been nice to see him flex some managerial talents... though I don't think that guy talking to Pam like that is out of place, I am sure cute girls are approached every other day by men, we don't know anything about guy except he is manipulative, he knew where to strike and did it, I was more disappointed that it clearly effected Pam

dpz301 11-06-08 08:51 PM

the phone stuff as everyone has mentioned was hilarious.

majorjoe23 11-06-08 09:10 PM

I'm not convinced Pam's classmate has a thing for her. I think they're setting us up to think that, but he may have just being truthful tonight. You could see Jim and Pam considering he might be right.

Michael T Hudson 11-06-08 09:32 PM

I spit up my drink when Pam said the company had a policy about personal calls for 8 hours.

musick 11-06-08 09:50 PM

easily one of the best episodes in the shows history and the best in some time

wow right Dwigt is loud

DGibFen 11-06-08 09:56 PM

Anyone notice that Stephen Merchant (the original BBC Office co-creator) directed tonight's episode?

The phone conversation was fantastic. I lost it when Jim told Michael he'd only buy the products if he fired the previous saleperson, and Michael took it seriously.

Nazgul 11-06-08 09:57 PM

Did the direction/style of this episode feel different?

raven56706 11-06-08 10:08 PM

this was by far one of the funniest...

cracksky 11-06-08 10:19 PM

I think I re-wound a re-watched Pam saying, "that's what she said, that's what she said, that's what she said!" about 50 times before continuing on with the program. She is too cute with her little hands in the air so proud. OMFG we need to clone her.

Ah, I didn't, but now it makes more sense. This episode REALLY felt less like The Office (US) and more like the UK one in pacing. The last few episodes have been one line after another and this one gave you time to digest the jokes. Interesting to know.

 I thought she was adorable in that scene with how happy she was.
