They aped the ending of The Sopranos's final episode.

Wow. Just Wow!

Just when I'm about to give up on watching this show because Gene Simmons was fired, they end up having the greatest episode in the series history. That ending was awesome - I had no idea what Trump was going to do.

Save for the super-cheesy Sopranos ending, this goes down as the single best episode in Apprentice history.

Well, after Vinnie basically quit I don't think it was a hard decision. Plus, Piers has been both interesting and successful on the show. He didn't really deserve to be fired. Vinnie is pretty one note.

I thought there was enough show for an hour and a half, but it was a little stretched at the end.

Enjoying the unintentional comedy of this unabashed cheesefest.

Loved how the rat thing spiraled out of control. Liked how the episode had a narrative and the extra time actually let things breath and play out in full.

At the beginning Trump said Tito was at a fight.

That was easily one of the most entertaining eps. of any show I've ever watched. My gf and I were laughing out loud throughout, especially at the over-top-ness of nearly everything that came out of Vinnie's mouth.

A favorite segment:

Piers: "You're not Don Corleone."
Vinnie: "How do you know?"
Piers: "You're not Don Corleone."
Vinnie: "How do you know?"

Just hilarity throughout. Plus, Trace was as even-keeled and hilarious as ever, Omarosa actually came off as appealing, the girls rallied for once, Carol rocked, Ivanka looked like she was having a good time, and both Piers and Baldwin were repeatedly called out for being jackasses. And the show has survived the loss of the always entertaining Gene Simmons.

Can't believe I'm saying this as a fan of the show since season one, but this is the best run of Apprentice ever, IMO.

I loved the way Vinnie alternated between 1) being frustrated that everyone was treating him as if he were actually his character from Sopranos instead of an actor and 2) acting as if he were actually his character from Sopranos instead of an actor.

This is one of those Apprentice rarities where both teams had something good going for them:

1) the women's drop box was creative, albeit a bit expensive to make

2) but the men's slogan was better.

Yeah, the croc company would be well served to use them both in the campaign.

Entertaining episode, and I loved the ending!

This episode was so ridiculous and over the top, and I loved every minute of it. So good that I might actually watch it again. at that ending - the second "Don't Stop Believin" started, you knew what was coming.

OK, Vinny is either seriously psychotic, or just living in a dream world. He thinks that Marilu Henner might take him out because she is Italian? Loved the ending though.

So what happens next week? I haven't seen any spoilers for it.

I guess I'm one of the few that didn't like this episode at all.

Not that I buy that much that much of this show is real, but last night just seemed like an episode of any other scripted show, down to the part of Vinny playing his character out.

I've never heard of Piers but think he's been great on the show and loved how he called out Billy Baldwin.

Judging from next week's preview Billy tries to go even farther with the him not wanting to look bad because he's in a ministry routine. I might skip that episode too.

BTW, it's Stephen Baldwin who's on this show, not Billy.

Seriously, that was freakin' great. What an out-of-control episode. I loved that they didn't just talk the Sopranos guy into being a rat, they got a guy who was a rat on the Sopranos to be a rat, then they ratted him out. You can't script stuff like that. Bravo. If I have to watch unscripted crap during the strike, I want more episodes like THAT.

BTW Vinny talks about "the characters I play on TV" as if there were more than one.

I would say so. I'm surprised the episode was so entertaining right from the start, it was funny, then it got a little interesting then all the drama. I wasn't expecting much from this season but last episode was unbelievable.

Good show. I thought the 2 hours was too long and should have been trimmed by at least 30 minutes. Also, why in the "f" did they remove fatso's chair from the boardroom? That leads me to believe that everyone including Trump knew the story before the "sit down". I could have sworn that he was going to slap Piers upside the head standing behind him and yelling like he did. I thought the ending was anticlimactic. Trump didn't fire anyone. He should have asked Piers to bring back two others into the boardroom and then fired someone. I liked Trump's "no comment" when asked if he had ever pulled any underhanded tactics. I would have liked Trump to been more involved in the tasks and shown that he at least tacitly approved of what the men were doing to the women. Lastly, the Soprano's ending was too yesterday's cliche. As soon as the Journey song came on I told my gf to wait for the cut to black silence.
