Hmm the gravity of people dying has lost it's edge since Blood can cure people now.

Looked like HRG to me. That was probably the deal he made.

Too bad Peter didn't think to give Nathan some of his blood.

I'll have to go back and watch it again, but it looked like "future" Pete (or the one with the black jacket) was walking out of the press conference when Matt looked up..

Bah. Whatever. This ep was kinda weak. Hiro leaving Adam buried alive guarantees he'll be back after he finishes clawing his way to the top. Does anyone really care that Monica was rescued? For that matter, does anyone really care that Nikki is presumed dead?

People on GameFAQs are theorizing that it's HRG who did the shooting, as part of his deal with the company.

Oh yeah and Bob really is an idiot when it comes to password security. Come on, "Midas"? At least that led to Elle saving the gang though.

That episode probably got us as close to where we were at the end of the first season as possible. Let's hope they do better the second time around.

I'm not saying this season stank, but it is definitely the lesser of the two seasons the way it stacks up now. I guess NBC left the door open for starting with more episodes this season by just saying the show would be back in 2008.

I think it is pretty likely HRG shot Nathan, but I'd honestly prefer a more creative outcome. Perhaps Peter brought Nathan back from the future and Nathan killed himself. Yeah, I like that.

Now that would be original.

Oh wait...no it wouldn't.

But, yeah, I would expect Kring & Co. to have it be Noah. It just looked to me like Peter.

Also, now that the virus is "destroyed", where does that leave Pete's Irish lass?

Great ending. I doubt Nikki and Nathan will end up dead. Sad to see it end.

Some more thoughts...Is Bob the entire company?

And I was really hope to see Elle fry her father but alas we'll have to wait till next season.

Doesn't Adam at least need oxygen to live?

And we knew Monica (AKA Black Black Cat) would survive. The picture of her on the cover of the comic book (that Isaac seems to somehow still create) shows her with that dagger we saw in the vault.

It wouldn't be original, but it would give us a glimpse into how the show regards time travel. Would future Nathan disappear? Die? Would he even be able to accomplish the goal?

Also, now that the virus is "destroyed", where does that leave Pete's Irish lass?
That's the really funny part about all of this to me -- I imagine she's just gone. Say what you will about Adam, but unleashing the virus was the most likely way for Peter to achieve his stated goal of finding and saving his Irish girlfriend.

I imagine we'll never hear about her again.
