when they showed Sylar on the ground and the close up of his eye. Was he seeing deja vu or a build up of the future he saw? I noticed his eyes went white like when he sees the future. I was thinking there was more to this scene and that maybe i missed something important.

So Peter should be back next season right since he has Claire's regeneration power right? In the "Days of Future Past" type episode, it was revealed that he was the bomb and he was still alive.

I thought it was a build up of the future.

Spoiler:

Here are my predictions:
The person who can see Molly is Ma Petrelli
Nathan did not die
Kensei is Hiro's dad - who has been around for centuries and cannot die

He was also on the ground. Assuming he falls back to Earth and his brain isn't obliterated or severed from his spine during the impact, I'm sure he'll be fine.

Well the same effect was used earlier in the episode when he was painting in the loft. I took it to mean he was using that power again... but then he died. Obviously not!

I don't think Nathan is dead, and the Ma Patrelli thing would be a great twist!

This would be a great Palpatine moment ! She sits back and lets people fight it out and then steps into power when the time is right.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a flash of the future but a flash of previous events and ended with him seeing himself in that state on the ground. I took it to mean he was dead at the time.

Since we don't know whether he survived and went into hiding or was dead and pulled by someone, I don't think we'll know for sure for a while.

Peter is alive. in five years gone, he states he was the bomb and he survived it.....think about it. Nathan is dead though.... he sacrificed himself to save everyone

That's how I took it as well. One of the flashes was of Charlie as he was killing her.

Sylar also probably saw a vision that showed him alive after being stabbed by Hiro.

How did Nathan hear Claire and Peter talking from far away? He flew in and jumped right in the middle of their conversation...."there is another way" or whatever he said. Does Nathan's flying ability also allow him to not have to breathe? I'm pretty sure they went way up in the atmosphere/space.

I'm on the fence with this finale...I don't mind that the fight wasn't badass as Peter hasn't mastered his powers yet...but Sylar having 10 years to react to Hiro charging with a sword?

Finales:

24 - I skipped through the finale as it was boring and was waiting for the big shocker. Turns out the big shocker was I watched the entire season.

Heroes - not bad, not great

All I know is that Lost better kick some major ass.

I thought this was perfect wrap up for the season.

All season the characters have been coming to terms with their new powers. The final show down had the awkward "What do we do now?" feeling to it, like it should. They are not some league of super heroes and for the most part they don't even know each other yet.

So yeah, taking down Sylar should have the vibe of strangers breaking up a parking lot fight between two other strangers.

Sylar body disappearing? That just a classic comic book move, always have to keep everyone around or at least a chance..

THE two biggest problems with the last eps are IMO:
1. the over hype. We should know better, NBC has been doing that all season. I read in ET how the last ep was like this 90million dollar film. Err no..

2. Showing "Five Years Gone" 4 eps or so ago. Skipping ahead 5 years, making everyone a billy bad ass super hero juiced up the show too much, then it coasted to the end.. In that ep we had this epic like show down with punch past a wall, lighting up the hand etc etc etc.. That might of been "too good" too soon..

Can anyone explain how Linderman, mom and shaft "planned" the bomb? Did they know that Peter was the one to set it off? And did Syler just get dupped into thinking that he was the one to blow up New York? Was it Linderman who got the painting from Issac that fortold this and he and the Petrellis' took this event to advance them politically?

I had heard on the radio that the event that caused the gene mutation was from an eclipse. This hasn't been stated on the show. I'm thinking that Hiro went back to the start point of where the powers were gained with the eclipse at the end of the show. That would be an interesting plot line. I also thought that I had heard that Hiro would not be in the next season (taking time off) but I guess that's not the case. I reckon money talks.

The eclipse is aliens and that's how they get their power.

Add this to the list of gaping plotholes. I swear, this episode plays like it was written by somebody who has never watched the show, but quickly skimmed summaries of the previous episodes on Wikipedia.

I thought the finale was the weakest episode of Heroes and this big finale that all the characters were perparing for was pretty weak. I thought they were leading up to a huge finale even from how the nbc promos were advertising

Meh. Wasn't the worst finale I've ever seen, but with some of the shows we already got this season in Heroes, it certainly wasn't the strongest.

I was getting the impression that Ma Petrelli has the power of suggestion, but it's triggered by the Queen of Hearts.

I was expecting more like almost everybody.

But as it was mentioned before, neither Peter nor Sylar are that powerful right now. I know that we were expecting the fight that was supposed to be 5 years in the future, but a lot of things need to happen so they can be that powerful.

Well, I'm now waiting for Lost to have a great season finale.
