My best guess is Juliet came clean to him with what Ben wanted her to do and has warned him of the impending raid, and that they're currently preparing something to overthrow Ben.
Juliet working alone against our castaways I can believe. But if she's working with Jack, it's not going to be against the people he has been protecting for 90 days. Look for the tables to turn in the finale (just my preditiction, not based on any spoilers). All of this is going to have to come out when Sawyer arrives back at camp with the tape. Also, from what Batmanuel was telling Locke, all this pregnancy/conception stuff was piddly crap compared to the real research potential the island holds. (count me glad about that. Having the entire show revolve around child birth seems uninteresting to say the least) I'll be looking forward to when the true research is revealed. |

If I am being foolish and Ben WAS involved (either planning or simply knowing) of a cover-up, then Walt and Michael were made to believe they were getting off the island and Ben sent them in that particular direction for one reason: to be captured by someone else (the yet-unseen Jacob perhaps?). Maybe Ben made it look like he was sending Michael and Walt home simply to show his followers that he can "keep his word" when he clearly intended NOT to do that.
the Others were too interested in Walt's powers to just let him sail away. |

That guy has to be close to 300 lbs. Or maybe it's just one of those 'TV moments'.
2. Locke carried Boone from the beechcraft back to the caves in Season One. Granted, Boone was probably a lot lighter, but this was just a few days after he had a piece of shrapnel in the side of his leg and the island had taken away his ability to walk. |
Haha 300 lbs? Man that's distorted (he looked skinnier than me and I weigh 230). But at least it was 300 - 21 grams.

Did anyone else say that Locke should have just cut off his dad's head to take with him?

Don't think Ben meant anything that literally, he just wanted proof that Locke had overcome his Daddy Issues by letting Cooper go. "Disembodied Head" would've sufficed, surely. But then again, it's a free-to-air network show and I don't think LOST will go much more gruesome than Cooper's strangling anytime soon.

"I'm gonna need a hacksaw."
Ah, the days when 24 was good TV. |

Some are of the belief that spoilers spoil the experience. I can't, for the life of me, tell you why, though.

I don't think anyone mentioned this so if they did, sorry.
Cooper/Sawyer said he was rear-ended and wound up on the island. Coincidence? I can't say I'm 100% so maybe we could collaborate here but weren't there like A LOT of car accidents/incidents with these people? Correct me if I'm wrongbut so far we've seen: 1. Kate and FBI guy (or was it her farmer friend? I can't remember) flip over. 2. Claire and her mom hit by a truck. 3. Cooper rear-ended by an 18-wheeler. 4. Juliet's ex-husband hit by a bus. This is where my memory gets fuzzy... 5. Didn't Kate's ex-boyfriend die in a car wreck during a police chase? 6. Wasn't Jack's ex-wife nearly paralyzed in a car wreck before they met and he fixed her? I can't think of any more off the top of my head but if any of you can remember more or correct me if my am mistaken on any of those feel free. Could there be a significance to all this poor driving? Or are these instances just more Lost coincidence? |
didn't read the whole thread maybe someone already said this, but how long until locke's dad goes running around the island again like mikhail.

I thought the guy looked pretty fat. He certainly has a fat head!

I don't usually watch the previews but this one I did and wow, it's a fantastic teaser for next week. It's also interesting when you watch it frame-by-frame because they slip in things that only last one or two frames that would be impossible to see otherwise. Last week they had a two-frame image which looked like the Black Rock and indeed it was. There's a lot going on next week for sure!

I missed the preview for next weeks episode, anyone know where I can find it online?
