This week's novel is set about a year after the bomb goes off in the timeline we witnessed last night. It deals with Hiro & Peter - Peter has the scar then as well.

Speaking of the scar, the make-up artist did a fantastic job on it. Everytime Peter was on screen, I was like, "damn that looks real."

Wow. that was a great ep. As stated many times here before; this show is what the X-men should have been instead of making them movies. This ep. was straight up Days of Future Past and I didn't give a shit that they ripped it off. I can't wait for the conclusion.

GREAT comic this week in addition to a great ep. If only for the last page.

In regards to the comic,
Spoiler:
who were the people on that last page? Looked like a black girl and some other schmuck?

bigsoos 05-01-07 09:19 AM

I don't know. Especially since it appears that HRG helped his wife and kid, Matthew (whom I suppose has an ability as well), hide from the public eye.

Though it does appear that little Matthew doesn't know Daddy from his picture of "Mommy and Me".

As explained, he was caught by Primatech and pseudo forced to work for them...when his child showed SPECIAL powers, he went over-the-top good employee while HRG hid his wife and kid....he's now OVERCOMPENSATING so that no one in the guv'mnt would expect that he's harboring a kid with superpowers

Spoiler:
I don't think we've met any of them. Looked like a sumo type dude, an electro man and an anti gravity fast runner? 1 more thing to look forward to.

I don't know for sure if that was Hana, but it looked and sounded like her and the 6-part comic series during the break showed that they were starting to work together to bring down the company.

Plus I remember seeing the actress's name on the opening credits.

Edit: you deleted your post, but I don't know why. It was a legitimate question.

Are you sure that was Hana that was helping Claire's father? I thought the woman last night was Hispanic and Hana wasn't from what I remember. I'll have to go back and watch it again.

Bob
Edit again - Ah, ok ;)

JCWBobC 05-01-07 09:40 AM

I deleted my post after checking because you were right about it being Hana.

Thanks

Plus, does he automatically get all the powers of those other 203+ people whether he knows it or not? Not sure if we need so spoiler comic talk since they're available for all to see?

I put in spoiler tag just in case some folks don't wanna read the comic

This show is probably going to be what gets me to buy an HDDVD player this summer.

Snowmaker 05-01-07 10:11 AM

5 pages and not one shot of Nikki on the pole?!

boogieman03 05-01-07 10:32 AM

Awesome epsiode. This episode may have confirmed the HD DVD purchase for me as well.

MrE 05-01-07 10:39 AM

Snowmaker, that's because it was a really AWESOME episode.

Maybe when he started having the ability to change his hair from grey to black....at random. Did anyone not notice that?

I laughed quite a bit during this one... production values are good but the acting is just terrible - but in an enjoyable way. Esp with a few cold ones...

Groucho 05-01-07 10:51 AM

I think we've found Suresh's power -- the ability to slip in and out of an Indian accent.

zuffy 05-01-07 10:52 AM

I thought Suresh's power is to be everyone's bitch.

MrE 05-01-07 10:53 AM
