Looks to me like it says "Mule." I mean, you saw Juliet's sister's face, right? ;)

Looks like Juliet didn't know her "sister" as well as she thought!

Patman 04-13-07 01:40 PM

That was the true miracle!

Seantn 04-13-07 03:09 PM

Actually, some friends of mine had a theory that the reason Juliet's sisters child was such a miracle was because she was actually a man. And they had this theory way back in February. This would actually go in line with that theory.

Afterall, they did tell someone on the island that Juliet was able to impregnate a MALE field mouse, but it didn't carry the baby full term.

Looks like Juliet's sister had about a magnitude 5 earth tremor around the 6 second mark!

Checked in with some other places and the general consensus seems to be that AICN is right about ep 19 and the season finale.

DVD Josh, you seem to be keeping up with the spoilers really well. I'm trying to keep away from the specifics, but I have opened up a couple of vague spoilers. My question to you is, does it sound like this end season run is going to be really good? Without giving anything away of course, I'm just curious to know if you think it sounds really good, possibly good, or it could be a steaming pile of crap. From what I've read, I'm not optimistic, but I'm trying to stay away as best I can, so perhaps I don't have all the necessary info. Just curious to hear generalities from somebody who's actively trying to read info.

I hope Juliette's sister isnt a guy .... then this show is slowly going to turn into 'The Island of Dr. Moreau'.

Non spoiler wise? Basically, the tag-line is "events will happen that will keep you talking through the summer"

The main characters for the season finale are to be:
Spoiler:
Jack, Hurley, Desmond, Penny, Danielle!

The main plotline for the season finale:
Spoiler:
Battle Royale between the Losties and the Others, which is said to be brutal and the producers are said to be glad its airing in the 10pm slot

Will it be good? I tend to think that it will be, since both season finales have been good so far (even the S3 Pt.1 finale was pretty good).

Will

Spoiler:
... and besides, looks like he wasn't lying, and Ben's episode will be coming up, but not as the finale. Episode 20. Sounds good.

What I find intriguing is that even though most fans are tired of Jack flashbacks, the producers still have the balls to devote a 2-hour finale to him. They've got something on us about Jack, that's for sure. And being that he's my favourite character, I'm nowhere near as cynical as most about the finale.

Maybe when they do an episode on Desmond's backstory?

Next wednesday.

im so sick of this Jack being a blind jackass crap ! I want Jack dead, he is ruining the show for me. People stranded on an island for months ? there would be much more violence and sex by now !

kenage 04-13-07 06:57 PM

If you really want to off characters I hope they start with Charlie. Why is he even still alive. Desmond should let fate take over.

I don't think he is blind, I think he is just playing Juliet's game, because he knows that is the only way to get out of the island.

Seantn 04-13-07 07:54 PM

It's a definite possibilty!

maybe they don't, and have sent Juliet in to recon and find out if anyone else is pregnant. Imagine her surprise when she finds Rose is cured as well.

I think that is one of the main reasons Juliet is there now, to find out if anyone else is preggers.

It still seems to me, that the Others do not know much about the Losties after they crashed. Otherwise, they wouldn't need to send Ethan and Goodwin out to blend in. So, anything that they've done on the island is basically unknown to the Others.

Thought this ep. was another great one. How about Goodwin giving it to Juliet? I think just about everyone thought Juliet and Ben had something going on with the way they acted towards each other, but it turns out Juliet was pissed at Ben for being one manipulative S.O.B.!

What about that symbol that was on tree by Ethan's drop point? Was that the same one they branded Juliet with? I'm kind of hoping Sayid stakes it out and catches an Other dropping something else off.

I think it has to have something to do with faith. Rose and Locke live by their faith in the island, therefore, they were healed. Whenever Locke's faith is tested and he loses it, he loses his ability to walk (Deus Ex Machina with his frustrations at not being able to open the hatch, Lockdown just after Henry tells him the button does nothing), but when he regains it, he's fine again.

Locke's comment about the Others being "cheaters" by not living off the island, and instead being reliant on electricity, running water, etc was his reasoning for the whole "you're in a wheelchair, and I'm not".

Update to this post from AICN:
Spoiler:

UPDATE!! Another reputable source told us late last night that 3.19 WILL contain flashbacks, and they'll be Locke flashbacks. So I called my original source (the one who said no flashbacks for 3.19), and that source said my latter source was right. The original source got confused because all of Locke's flashbacks are very RECENT flashbacks. All apparently take place on Dharma Island (or thereabouts) subsequent to Ben reintroducing Locke to his daddy (the last time we all saw Locke). So the real, true and now double-confirmed flashback order is:

3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 John Locke
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard

Apologies for the mix-up!!

END OF UPDATE!!

Spoiler:
A highly-placed insider has just set my hinder straight on the batting order for the final episodes of “Lost” this season.

The bad news? As reported by TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello, the season will indeed not end with a Benjamin Linus flashback two-parter.

The good news? We’ll be getting Ben’s flashbacks even sooner! He’ll be the focus of 3.20, the episode previously believed to be DeGroot-centric. (If you’re thinking Dharma masterminds Karen and Gerald DeGroot will still turn up in that episode, I’d guess you’re thinking right.)

The shocking news? After years of privately and publicly nagging the producers of “Lost” to cut back on the flashbacks, I can report that 3.19 is slated to be the first-ever flashback-free episode in the series’ history.

The absent flashbacks for that episode, says my source, “won't even be missed.”

“The episode,” he or she adds, “focuses on one of season one's ‘mysteries’ - if that's the right word.”

What I am assured is the true flashback order:
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 no flashbacks!
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard

I don't think anyone knows nearly enough to make that sort of declaratory statement.

You should know to add an invisible (imo) after every statement on any forum by now.
