I think it's the smog monster. Hopefully, the reveal doesn't include an episode of smog monster flashbacks (this is when I took down trees, this is when I killed Eko, etc.) :)

Okay, I have some theories that I've pieced together on "The Brig", which has been rumored and not rumored to contain
Spoiler:
no flashbacks. As we know, many sites are reporting this will be a Locke episode. Well there seems to be some suggestion that although they may not be the typical type of flashback

Warning, bigger spoiler

Spoiler:
One of the main plot points is that "a new island inhabitant discloses some shocking information about Oceanic Flight 815." I think we can all agree that this new inhabitant is Anthony Cooper

Chucky 04-16-07 08:58 PM

Nope.

Spoiler:
Spoiler:
The episode has "Three Minutes"-style flashbacks, showing what Locke has been up to while with the Others.

Bigger Spoiler:
Spoiler:
The revelation comes from a new character, Naomi, who parachutes onto the Island.

P.S. On the topic of Nikki & Paulo, as much as I hated the characters and am glad they are dead, television show producers really shouldn't listen to Internet nerds to decide how to run their show.

I hate myself for vowing to go cold turkey with spoilers between now and the finale. Must ... resist ...

Spoiler:
Not sure if Anthony Cooper is the new inhabitant mentioned, but he IS listed in the cast list for that episode - so he'll be involved in it somehow.

New information today about a link between two cast members related to the above:

Spoiler:
04/16 - A newly focused Locke breaks away from "The Others" in an attempt to persuade Sawyer to help rid them of a great nemesis that has caused nothing but pain in both of their lives. Meanwhile, a new island inhabitant discloses some shocking information about Oceanic Flight 815. Guest starring are M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly/Tom, Kevin Tighe as Anthony Cooper, Mira Furlan as Danielle Rousseau, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, Kimberly Joseph as Cindy and Marsha Thomason as Naomi. Source: ABC

Certainly looks like, given this person's inclusion on the cast list, that the common link between them is
Spoiler:
"the great nemesis" Anthony Cooper is the real Sawyer, and both of their fathers

If true, that might start to change the theme of LOST to
Spoiler:
family!?!?!

With all of the new spoilers, my new plan of attack is to just read one out of every 4 or 5 postings. So I can satisfy my need to know what's going on a bit, but still not have the foggiest clue what any of them are talking about :) .

I've been telling people at work that
Spoiler:
family
is a huge part of the overall story arc of Lost.
Here are some of my reasons. Not really sure if it needs to be spoilerized but better safe than sorry.
Spoiler:

1. Pretty much every character has family issues of some type, mostly with their parents.
Fathers-Jack, Locke, Kate, Walt, Hurley, Claire,Sawyer(?)
Potential Father in-law-Desmond
Mother-Ana Lucia, Kate
Son-Michael
Brother-Charlie
2. The voice doing the "Previously on Lost" voice overs is the guy who plays Jack's dad. While this is purely speculative, in general shows have important characters doing that voiceover (Twin Peaks had Kyle Maclachlan who played Agent Dale Cooper doing them for example). Sure, it could have something to do with the actor having a good voice but I think there is more to it.
3. The things we saw last about the others not being able to have kids on the island pretty much confirmed what I and others had speculated about why they kept kidnapping children.

there's probably other reasons that I'm forgetting at the moment but I wouldn't be suprised to see this be something of developing importance.

Bai Ling was arrested for stealing magazines and batteries at an airport shop. Here's her mugshot:

I guess they are going to have to bring her character back in order to kill her off in the show?

Stealing batteries? She's not old enough yet to get away with that.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Bai Ling says she made an "innocent mistake" when she allegedly took a pack of batteries and two tabloid magazines at Los Angeles International Airport without paying for them.

Bai Ling says she's grateful she was charged only with an infraction for not paying for $16.22 of merchandise.

In a message posted on her blog hours after she was charged with petty theft on Monday, the Chinese actress said she's "relieved" that prosecutors decided not to pursue a more serious misdemeanor count against her.

The actress faces a $250 fine for allegedly shoplifting $16.22 worth of items, including two Star magazines, said city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan.

"There's no jail time associated with that amount," Mateljan said.

Her arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday, when Bai could contest the infraction or pay the fine, Mateljan said.

"What happened was an innocent mistake on my part and I am confident that the truth will be told since I never had any intention of taking items without paying for them," she wrote without elaborating.

The actress, who has appeared in such films as "The Crow" and "Anna and the King," was arrested February 13 after she was detained by a store employee who summoned police.

She later told E! News that she was having an "emotionally crazy" day because she and her boyfriend broke up right before Valentine's Day.

Now I KNOW why her boyfriend broke up with her! (Check out that photo...)

By the way, some makeup company should use her as a before and after...
