it's Desmond's hottie that was scouring the poles looking for him. Thanks to the hatch explosion (which in LOST time was, what, 2 weeks ago?) she knows where to go and it took those two weeks to mount up.

What?!? Are you saying that they are changingthe order of the already-shot episodes or are the episodes still being shot? You're talking about changing the flashback for episode 19, which airs in two weeks, right?

I would have thought that they had wrapped production for pretty much the whole season by now. How far ahead do they shoot? It doesn't fill me with confidence that the people running the show have a real plan in mind to hear this.

That wasn't what I was saying at all. Either new information has come to bear that changes who the episode will center on or they have decided to re-edit already shot footage. And it airs in three weeks, just to set the record straight.

I hope so. It's been far too long waiting for this to be addressed.

I get the feeling, if this is true, that you might be eating your words.

Also, if
Spoiler:
"The Brig" isn't a Jack episode and the finale isn't a Ben episode and everything we've heard up til now is wrong, then my bets are on "The Brig" being a Sawyer episode with his confrontation with Anthony Cooper, aka "The Real Sawyer." Josh Hollaway himself has said we'll be seeing his letter again this season, and the producers have said that Sawyer will be "dealing with issues that have been with him since Season One." Makes sense that the return of Cooper to the show sees a Sawyer flashback.

Like a Russian running through the forest.

I said it sounds awful, not that it will be awful. And honestly, its just because the last Jack centric episode was what I'd consider the series low.

Did anyone happen to notice if the submarine was in the same spot dropping off Juliet as it was when it got blown up?

I just got the feeling that the whole sub scene was staged for Juliet's sake and that it never actually moved or maybe she got there another way. i dont know the significance of this at all to the larger story but that whole thing just struck me as staged or not right.

asianflow 04-13-07 12:42 AM

There was another mention of Jacob last night.

A part of me thinks Jack is really Jacob. Kristin from E said the Lost season finale is suppose to be the one that gets everybody talking. I imagine finding out the leader of the Losties is actually the leader of the Others would stun the majority of the audience.

The problem is that we already know a lot about Jack through his flashbacks. He use to be married and it doesn't appear he ever spent time on the Island until the plane crashed.

I've really enjoyed this season. I'm sure the final episodes will be amazing.

I don't think so--I think the others are on the island for other reasons, but have learned that they cannot have children while they are on the island and want to find a way to fix it.

I agree. Jack said that he could see in her eyes that she wanted to get off the island more than anyone else--she's willing to do whatever might help get her off.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon that says Jack should be decapitated. You never know what he might know but doesn't choose to let on, and you never know -- after failing to deliver on his promises so many times -- if Juliet still trusts and is willing to work with Ben. She might be looking to double-cross him some how.

That's easy to understand - I'm willing to do whatever it takes for her to get off, too. :eyebrow:

A few things I thought of out of the blue...

The dudes recruiting Juliet.. Juliet mentioned in haste somethign abuot wishing her husband would get hit by a bus to him (Richards?)... Next thing you know he gets hit by a bus... Then in the morgue they are down there with her... Why the heck would she go w/ them after something like that??

Also, season 2 finale.. (not sure why I thought of this last night)... At the very end w/ the two dudes in the igloo.. The magnetic blast sky thing goes off and their machine picks it up.. They call Desmond's woman and say "We found it."

Is that just another thing they are sweeping under the rug?

hardercore 04-13-07 08:17 AM

Looks like Ausiello was wrong, and the info we all had prior to his article was right.

Spoiler:
If you follow this link, which is a visit that E!'s Kristin Veitch did with the cast of LOST, Jorge Garcia himself reveals that "Benjamin's story's coming up ... we're shooting it ... and it's really good."

So it looks like 3.19 will be a Jack episode and 3.22/23 will be a Ben episode, after all.

They will go back to it eventually. That is not something that can be swept under the rug.

Is that confirmed? 16 episodes into the 3rd and they haven't even touched on it.

Maybe when they do an episode on Desmond's backstory?

But how many days in Lost time since the hatch exploded? We can only assume she's on her way. And I'd agree that the next Desmond episode is the most likely candidate for that story.

Now, Ben holds sway over Juliet and Juliet thinks these islanders really got something going on here.

This is probably just a prop error but the charts show they are for an 187 lb Male:

The mothers are infected at conception. Sun will allow Juliet to examine her to see if the baby is in danger. In doing so, we'll know who the father is. If the baby is not in danger, Jin will know that dead, bald guy is the father. Not looking good for Sun either way.

These spoilers were posted yesterday on AICN, take it for what it's worth (but sounds credible to me). Has to do with the rest of the upcoming flashbacks:

Spoiler:
A highly-placed insider has just set my hinder straight on the batting order for the final episodes of “Lost” this season.

The bad news? As reported by TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello, the season will indeed not end with a Benjamin Linus flashback two-parter.

The good news? We’ll be getting Ben’s flashbacks even sooner! He’ll be the focus of 3.20, the episode previously believed to be DeGroot-centric. (If you’re thinking Dharma masterminds Karen and Gerald DeGroot will still turn up in that episode, I’d guess you’re thinking right.)

The shocking news? After years of privately and publicly nagging the producers of “Lost” to cut back on the flashbacks, I can report that 3.19 is slated to be the first-ever flashback-free episode in the series’ history.

The absent flashbacks for that episode, says my source, “won't even be missed.”

“The episode,” he or she adds, “focuses on one of season one's ‘mysteries’ - if that's the right word.”

What I am assured is the true flashback order:
3.17 Desmond Hume
3.18 Jin & Sun Kwon
3.19 no flashbacks!
3.20 Benjamin Linus
3.21 Charlie Pace
3.22-23 Jack Shephard

Believing Kristin over Ausiello is like believing your dog over your cat. AICN has the most accurate of the current spoiler info that I know of right now. Of course, this could all change.
