Of course. "It's as Ann as the nose on Plain's face."

I don't know. The writers on the show don't seem like the sort of people who might have done inventory in a warehouse, and I certainly wasn't familiar with that.

It's a thing that was in the episode that was set up like it was supposed to be a joke, but wasn't independently funny. Therefore people were trying to figure out if it was a connection to something else.

If the Ipod thing was a stand-alone joke, it didn't work.

So...Oscar came back from his 3 month vacation around Christmas, but was still off for this ep? Odd.

It looked to me like Oscar wasn't returning to work, but had just been invited to the Christmas party. He felt uncomfortable and left. After hiding his iPod in the warehouse, of course.

I took Darryl's finding the iPod to play off of Pam's crying. He's all happy and talking about the best day ever and then BAM! Crying Pam.

Yeah the joke is that it is the best day of his life. Not a great joke but there it is.

I'm assuming you mean Roy-Pam.

The party in the warehouse was pretty lame and it had an "Island" Theme. Roy said something along the lines of, "remember when we were planning the honeymoon and you wanted to go to Hawaii and I wanted to go to Mexico?....I was right."

He's thinking of Tim & Dawn, the names of the original pair from the British version....

Would it clear things up if I reminded you that Roy bought Pam an iPod knock-off last Christmas?

Didn't know where else to put this, but both Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams will be directing episodes that will air this season.

I don't think it was supposed to be a joke, I don't know why everyone thinks it was suppose to be funny, I agree with the other post that it was to go from Darryl having a great day to cut to pam crying having a horrible day

Someone finding an object like an I-pod and claiming that it was the best day of their life is most definitely a joke.
