Yeah, I just thought the joke was that he was eating, listening to music and sending out bulk emails instead of working. The tie-in was he was sending out emails instead of Michael & Jan.

As the poster below you pointed out, Angela has explicitly stated that she is a vegetarian in another episode (Jim's shindig where he directs her to "pop in the fridge" or the like in response to her not eating meat). That's why I found that line about the pig so puzzling. Also, it's not like she's a vegetarian due to health reasons, all signs point to her choosing that lifestyle due to her belief in non-violence and ethics. Anyway, NBD. I'm presuming my initial assumption is correct in that she fancies her role in the party planning committee much more than anything else, which in-turn also makes for better comedy.

Except for the fact the he looked awful creepy since it looked like Jan was asleep with her top off and Michael asked a complete stranger to take a picture of him standing next to her.

I found this episode to be hysterical. Packer saying "Wait, I just got it from someone else" is one of the funniest lines of the series. (Runner-up is Tobie's "Michael, it was sent to me from 9 different people, including my ex-wife)

Video iPod. The Office had JUST launched on iTunes like a few days before it aired. Good advertising, lol.

I thought this was one of the funniest episodes of the whole season (so far). Besides all the other funny bits already mentioned in this thread, I thought Michael's slow walk upstairs to see Jan was hilarious - he looked like a man walking to his own execution!

I laughed because it reminded me of someone walking to the principal's office.

JFC people. The iPod gag was just a throwaway gag about how lost shit always turns up on inventory day. Plus the fact that he got a semi-naked photo of a corporate boss AND found his long-lost iPod on the same day, making it the "best day ever" (or whatever it was he said when he found it).

The Pam/Jim thing is supposed to be humorous but I find it frustrating. Pam DOES NOT know what she wants. She can't get over her ex nor can she get over Jim. Jim is trying to have a meaningful relationship but Pam is his weakness. GET OUT OF HIS LIFE or step up to the plate Pam, please.

That's how I saw it too. It happens in threads for other shows, and it's funny how people tend to over-think and try to analyze these kinds of gags which are supposed to be simple and straightforward - too much Arrested Development, I suppose...
