I'm not at all clear on what we saw. We know Peter had a hallucination that his brother and Sylar were in the cell with him. Maybe this is just another hallucination.

At first I thought he just figured out how the room was inhibiting him and adjusted his frequency or whatever to allow his powers to work...

Then what he said to her about her knowing that shooting him wouldn't hurt him or work on him or something really confused me. There's much more to that Sylar dude that we know :D

Regarding Peter, I'm thinking Sylar actually takes the radioactive man's power and gets in close enough proximity to Peter to get him to absorb it temporarily but he can't control it. How Sylar gets out of there if that's true is beyond me.

I'm not so sure that wasn't Sylar mucking around in Peter's head. Sylar seems almost too strong now with that new persuasion power.

How come people think that Sylar didn't/isn't going to take Eden's power? He pretty much said he was right before he killed her.

I think the reasoning people are using is that Sylar could have easily kept her from killing herself if he wanted based on what we have seen him do in the past with guns. I don't think Sylar is a particularly fast thinker, though. I don't think he had considered she might kill herself until she did it.
