the show is going to have the ability to constantly reveal new people that have superpowers pretty much whenever it needs to. Either the people are going to be just discovering their powers, or if all the powers were triggered by a global event, the people are going to have hidden them for a while.

Just because they're the 9th wonders of the world doesn't mean that there will be nine of them. There could've been just two and they could still be called the 9th Wonders.

I think that the writing has been quote good actually. Better in many ways than Lost. Dialogue is not the greatest, but the scene structure plot and themes are better.
