The wife and I have been referring to the henchman as Hollowman (since HRG has used the "Hollow him out" line twice). He's very obviously not Sylar. Was certainly hoping for a lot more of HRG and Hollowman as well this week.

*slaps forehead*

if that's what they would say to justify their period details...

Damn it. I really liked that theory too. It would've provided a plausible way for Mohinder's dad to know about Sylar, assuming he got his hands on an old FBI case file. Oh well.

A politician who lies?! A lot? Boy, this is science fiction.

Happy voting!

It's a global event. Mohinder had a map with more people on it, and Sylar had even more people on his map.

the show is going to have the ability to constantly reveal new people that have superpowers pretty much whenever it needs to. Either the people are going to be just discovering their powers, or if all the powers were triggered by a global event, the people are going to have hidden them for a while.

That's one possibility. I think Sylar might get to him though and absorb his power, as has been hypothesized. They have to save the cheerleader to keep Sylar from becoming near invulnerable. If that theory's correct, then it's possible that the Heroes' final confrontation with Sylar is what causes the explosion.

How many more people with power? My prediction: Nine.

That comic isn't called 9th Wonders for nothing.

If that were the case, shouldn't the title of the comic be "The 9 Wonders" instead of 9th? There were 7 wonders of the world, King Kong was the 8th, and now the Heroes are the 9th. Just because they're the 9th wonders of the world doesn't mean that there will be nine of them. There could've been just two and they could still be called the 9th Wonders.

BTW, the poster who says that the female FBI agent is the worst actress ever...you never watched Carnival did you?

Slow episode, but I think things get good if Nathan loses the election.

My theory

Sylar plans to 'absorb' Radioactive man AND Claire, so he can detonate NYC and regenerate himself, this surviving to do it again in another city

Remember - Its 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' NOT 'Save the cheerleader, save NYC"

And Andre the Giant was the 8th

This episode was a little boring... the younger brother was starting to annoy me. Not enough Hiro and Ando

I always recognize her as Natasha Lyonne's lesbian girlfriend in "But I'm a Cheerleader!" which is kind of funny now considering the "save the cheerleader, save the world" plotline.

I fear they will take option 1.

I think that the writing has been quote good actually. Better in many ways than Lost. Dialogue is not the greatest, but the scene structure plot and themes are better.

Oh, c'mon people... Page Two. Post #26.

"The Fonz."

Regardless of the outcome in regards to the populus here, that's the nickname I'm sticking with.

Spoiler from Kristin on E!:

Spoiler:
NEW SCOOP: SYLAR'S IDENTITY. Sources tell me that Sylar will be played by an actor named Zach Quinto. He's a cutie—yes, cutie!—who has popped up for small parts on a slew of shows we love (like 24, Crossing Jordan, CSI and Twins—okay, we'll forgive that last one) and most recently VH1's noTORIous, in which he played Tori Spelling's gay, Persian-American friend. I'm told Zach's fantastic in this role on Heroes (by someone who doesn't work for him, mind you), and that his character is the opposite of what you'd think it would be. Hmm...
