Well. you have to have some reason to keep the show in Everwood, and Madison's revelation will be the catalyst for Ephram flunking his audition, and thus, will have to be hanging near Colorado, while he's in a year-long funk next season before deciding to go to college.

No, no, no - he isn't going to take the year off from college. He will enroll in the drastically under-rated music school at Colorado A&M.

Might I add ... Ephram and Bright become roomies at the local college untill bright flunks out and Ephram quits school to take care of the baby that Madison's mother was raising for her.

Ooh, even better: Madison dies in a tragic accident and Amy and Ephram marry and must raise his love child together.

BTW, I loved the scene with Bright and Amy. Very nicely done how they hinted at Bright having feelings for Hannah, even though he doesn't realize it. It was great how Amy tells him that he'll realize he loves a girl when he misses her and then he starts asking about Hannah and he comments about how long she will be away. Awesome scene.

I fealt kind of bad for Andy. Worked and tried so hard for his and Ephram's bond to become what it is only to have it go back to how it was in episode one (just guessing).

I really like the idea of Bright and Ephram going to college together. Could prove to be quite funny.

That's what I was thinking, too...

Definitely the best scene of the ep. I almost wish they had Amy grinning from ear to ear when Bright left the room.

I was actually waiting for that. Bright is like 18 or 19 right? The women he dated at the office came off like they were in there early 20's. Hannah is 17? or 16? None of this really matters I'm just trying to get my bearings.

I actually see Hannah being the catalyst that gets Bright on the right track. I think he resents deep down all of the people around him being so gifted. His pops is a doctor, his mom is successful, Ephram is a genius, and Amy is driven. And here comes Bright, slacker to the max (maybe why I can identify with his character so much...if only we had the same sex lives though ). Hannah, even though she's smart as a whip, still looks up to him in a way and makes him feel comfortable. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.

I wonder how many more seasons of the show we're going to get?

Isn't Hannah a sophomore this season? That's what I thought.

Bright will probably be the more successful in the long run, he just needs to get his crap together because he's got the other intangibles in spades.

Yep, she could be his Andie McPhee.

Something Ephram brought up that I hadn't thought of before. He said something about how it sucked that Andy lost his girlfriend when her boyfriend woke up from a coma, and how he's probably the only person on Earth who could relate to that. Funny stuff.

What's the deal with Everwood?

I know The WB is known for having long breaks between episodes, but this show has not been on in five weeks and from what I have heard there is at least three more before the next episode. Does anyone know what is going on?

Instead of running reruns, the WB elected to just pop in a short run of Summerland in the timeslot because there are 52 Mondays in a year, but only around 22-24 episodes of Everwood per year. The math speaks loudly.

One way to look at it is that they have long breaks between episodes...another way to look at it is that they also run long uniterupted blocks of episodes.

The way I look at it is who wants to watch Summerland? I use the breaks to catch up with other stuff. Sometimes I apprecite the "vacation" from not havinv to turn on the TV to watch my favorite shows!

so you've got one. it equals 6-7 weeks, and then you have 12 weeks or so again. simple.

Even though the breaks can be a PITA, the Everwood break is working out great for mine self. There is so much stuff to watch and do that I'm not even missing it just yet. And thank good they don't do the "run two eps, rerun, new ep, rerun," type schedule that really gets under my goose. I'll take these mini hiatus' over that anyday.

I would rather networks just go to a more compact schedule instead of doing long breaks. I would prefer a layout like FX does rather than guess work on when a show is going to be on. Hell, I can't believe I am saying this, but do what Fox and ABC have done with Alias and 24. Split the season up into 22 week seasons, run episodes with no interruption. Break for the holidays and return with a different show.

Networks don't quite have the budget for such outlay for new programming to run 2 shows per year in the same time slot (one show occupies the beginning of the year, the other occupies the second half of the year).

No one realizes how much shows like The Shield, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, etc are in re-runs all the time on the FX.

All of season 4's episodes of 24 have been shown in a row because it's a highly, highly serialized show that is the exception of most episodic TV. Alias is also an exception because of scheduling, plus their good forture to have scored a hit with Desperate Housewives in Alias' former timeslot.

blah - Ephram not going through w/ his audition was too predictable.

Can't believe Madison didn't out Andy - Sarah Lancaster was really good in that scene.

Bright is getting an apartment and I think he needs a roommate.

Any bets Ephram will be Bright's new roommate?

I hope next week's ads are deceptive and Ephram doesn't screw up his relationship with Amy.
