I knew they would end the romantic story-lines at the same time. I just hope that is the last we see of Tommy.

Harold's rant towards Andy at the end of the ep was great! Harold has become the ******* we have always dreamed he would become! Tom Amandes is a great actor.

Bright has become one of the best parts of the show. How can you not like a guy who so perfectly uses the term "asshat."

I was never worried about Nina leaving either. We know Linda will not be around forever - Nina has to be there for Andy when she leaves.

I don't know how the writers do it, but I caught myself tearing up at Bright's storyline, where he drives all the way to Colorado A&M in an attempt to change the minds of the admissions department, even though Harold doesn't do much in supporting his plan of action. And then after Bright gets more bad news, just seeing Harold waiting there for Bright, being there for him, it just struck me in a strange way that brought tears to my eyes.

And then to follow it up with Ephram finally saying goodbye to Madison on his terms just opened up the floodgates for me. You could how much growing up Ephram did in finding a way to take the good from his relationship with Madison, but knowing that breaking up was the right thing to do at this time and place.

It's rare that I see films nowadays that get to me like this show does on a regular basis.

Delia also finds a way to let Madison go because letting her go means Ephram won't be as sad and he takes precedent over her. It was a very mature realizaton on part of a 10 year old.

Amy has problems with going cold turkey on the Zoloft, begs Linda to keep her on for another month, and Linda agrees. Then while picking up her prescription, she bumps into Colin's mom, and seeing that she's doing fine, though with another brand of anti-depressant, Amy leaves the pharmacy and gathers the strength to throw away her pills, and deciding to tackle what life has in store for her.

Harold still won't forgive Andy for not telling him that Amy got birth control pills from Andy.

Solid episode.

Delia's a great little character.

Poor Bright.

Harold and Andy are pudds.

A very sad, angst-filled episode. Heartbreaking for Bright when he gets rejected by all the colleges he applied to. Logic would be to apply to more schools, especially ones easier to get into, but as far as the storyline goes, community college is a route with no shame - transfer after two years and in the end, you get a degree from a 4 year university.

Plus - Patch has yet to forgive Andy. And they are such a cute couple.

Delia's breakup with Madison was also sad. I never particulary cared for Madison, but I felt a twinge of saddness for her departure.

It's bizarre how Nina is on when Edna isn't on...conspiracy theory? That's up to you.

And slightly OT: I'm annoyed by the new, younger announcer for the WB. I liked the old, deep voice guy better, and thankfully he still sometimes does the voiceovers. "Fresh episodes"? Stupid.

Well, the secret is out.

I didn't care for Andy dumping Linda, especially in the manner that he did it.

Harold - for sticking to his guns.

Bright is funny as hell.

Loved it when Delia punched Brittany.

Glad to see that this show is beginning to capture some of the first season spirit.

Amy and Ephram almost seem back to normal. You wonder if they and Bright will be as tight as Amy, Colin and Bright were?

I found it interesting that Andy and Ephram are able to finally discuss some matters as a father and son. Good for Andy for actually listening to his son and considering his viewpoint. Bad for making his ill-conceived decision regarding Linda.

Really glad to see Harold willing to "circle the wagons" to protect his family.

All in all a fine episode that actually "feels" like EVERWOOD.

The most level headed character in town is Irv.

Even though he had only a few lines tonight, he made the most sense. He is quite the introspective one in Everwood. His quite sensible reply really shut Edna up and made her see that the town would adapt, but he's right, people are scared. to the writers this ep.

Delia opened a can of whoop-de-doo on her former 'best friend.'

Bright is getting scared that he might lose Efram to Amy... classic!

I busted out LOL when Delia whipped out that can of whoop-ass on Brittany for revealing Linda's secret.

The delivery of "What will we do without you?" line (paraphrased) also struck to the core of Ephram's insecurities at that moment.

Andy's breakup with Linda was heartbreaking, the inner turmoil on Andy's face was eating him up inside. Good acting from both Treat and Marcia in that scene.

Harold is headed to the sidelines with this review by his insurance carrier.

Bright did have some choice lines as Amy re-discovers her feelings for Ephram.

So is this their way to begin to write Linda out of the series?

Yup, I believe so.

I figured it would happen the last few eps of the season.

Good ep. Great balance between the funny and serious. Would write more but it's getting late and I need to pack.

This episode proves once again that Bright has been the best part of the show this season.

I like Amy so much better now that Tommy is gone and she isn't acting like such a selfish brat. That girl is gorgeous.

Linda finally left - we knew it would happen before the season ended. I hope they bring back Marcia Cross for a couple of eps next season.

Andy had some good scenes w/ his mentor.

Thankfully, we only got a minute dose of Delia this week.

Harold and Andy better fully make-up before the end of the season - they're close, but not quite there.

She's at home celebrating Linda's departure.

Recap:

Bright continues to amaze in his senior year turnaround with his Prom-o-bago, and 4 dates for the prom, while also nudging Amy and Ephram together on a prom date at the same time. Amy is now crushing on Ephram, but he's still hung up on Madison, whom they bump into at a convenience store while stopping for munchies on the prom-o-bago. Amy backs off of Ephram after seeing how the chance meeting with Madison stops him emotionally in his tracks. In an effort to cut Bright off the cupid path, she alludes to him that she let Ephram know how she feels about him, but that it wasn't the right time for him and has Bright promise her that he doesn't talk about this with Ephram. Of course Bright brings up the subject, spills the beans for Amy, but plays it cool so as to not embarrass Amy in Bright's eyes. Now Ephram knows of Amy's feelings for him.

Andy's mentor comes to present a case that needs his surgical skills, but Andy refuses to take on the case on its merits (the case requires delicate brain surgery). The mentor passes out on his way out of town in Andy's kitchen, and Andy discovers the case was about his mentor's condition, and this spurs Andy to take the case, but now to the protestations of his mentor who reminds him it's be like when Andy operated on Colin last year. Andy presses on and gets his surgical team together for the surgery.

Linda decides to take an offer to go to Namibia for another "Doctors Without Borders" tour of duty since she's become a town pariah now that her HIV status has been disclosed to the town, and has caused Harold's insurance company to review his malpractice policy, causing Harold's practice to be shut down in the interim. Harold is torn up about Linda leaving Everwood again, but finds it in his heart to let Andy know she's leaving on the train so Andy can say goodbye to her since she wasn't going to do so herself, and it could be the last chance if Linda doesn't make it back from this stint to Africa. Andy does see her at the train station after she and Edna say their goodbyes. Afterwards, Linda is emotionally wrought from leaving Andy as she collapses into a train station bench, sobbing.

Good recap and a great episode.

I have really enjoyed seeing Bright realize his abilities as a good cross of his parents separate talents/abilities. He has great qualities that he has gathered from the best aspects of his parents.

Good to see a softening on Harold's side towards Andy.

With Andy requesting help and people turning him down, might we see Andy asking Harold for help with Uncle Don's surgery?

Building for a great finale.

Great ep....however...another run-in with Madison was unneccessary IMO. Anyone know how many episodes are left for this season? I am guessing about 2-3.

I've said this before but I am going to say it again....what a great cast!!
