The article in this week's EW indicates there will some major revelations in the finale, setting up the new direction for S3. I got the impression the writers were concerned about the viewer reaction to the reveals. Hmmm...

I too noticed that Walt's voice didn't match up with him just right. It sounds like they did something to it to make him younger or even used someone else's voice.

Didn't Michael say he needed a boat to the others? Is that the boat we are seeing coming on the shore?

So it doesn't look like killing Ana Lucia was part of the plan to get Walt back. I guess he did it just so he could release Henry Gale.

I kept waiting for getting rid of Ana Lucia to be included as part of Michael's terms. His reaction to shooting Libby was so different from when he shot AL, that it seemed like he was told/coerced into shooting AL.

I think I would ask Jack just what the hell that "medicine" is before injecting it into my baby, but maybe that's just me.

Is Locke going on his own "Walkabout" or following Michael's group to the Others?

Great episode.

Loved the Mr. Ecko & Michael conversation about hell.
Michael looked a little worried.

Thank God Sayid has figured out that Michael let HG go and is leading them into a trap. I see him following Michael and the 4 back to Otherville.

Miss Klugh was creepy ! I hope someone shoots her next week.

We know Mrs. Friendly is wearing a costume but what about the rest of them ? Do they think Mr. Friendly is one of them ?

I think Desmond will show up on the boat next week.

Oh. My. God.

I pray that these posts were just joking. I don't think I could comprehend someone being criticized for not starting a thread about a TV show "properly". Our world hasn't become that lame, has it?

I'm also in the camp that has absolutely NO sympathy for anyone being spoiled by this thread before they saw the show. I don't think I've ever clicked on a show thread before I actually saw the episode it discusses. Why would you? Any speculation about what may happen makes more sense to be posted in last week's thread.

This on the other hand...

...is clearly bullshit. All talk about next week's previews needs to be spoilerized. Everyone else who talked about it in this thread seems to understand that. Not sure why Kerborus can't figure it out.

Definitely a "Duh" moment there. Especially when Danielle goes on and on about "the sickness" and I believe Fenry brought it up as well. A possible vaccine for this "sickness" isn't something that should be hoarded and kept secret from the "leaders" of the group, especially when one is a doctor.

And after what Claire went through with Ethan does she really want to be injecting some unknown substance with the same dharma labels as Ethan used? Common sense took a back seat to this development.

Just stay out of thread after 6 pm PST until 10 pm PST when you've seen it. You know the east coast people will be talkinga bout the show staring at 6 your time, so there's no reason to click on the thread.

What the fuck else are people going to post? These threads are pointless until the episode airs anyway. Just a bunch of "can't wait" type posts.
Agreed, but how many of us knew certain shows run earlier in Canada. Looks like we need to pad that another couple of hours. Also, it would be helpful if our Eastern Canadian friends could warn us when it runs earlier there than in the US Eastern time zone. Not saying you shouldn't post, just warn us.

Not a great episode. It was pretty easy to guess what happened to Michael, no surprises there. For once, Charlie had the most interesting storyline.

What does "Three Minutes" refer to? I could never figure that out.

That was how much time Michael was given with Walt (at least until Walt tried spilling the beans about The Others)

Oh yes. I'm a dummy.

By the way, when I wrote "Miss Clue" into my Clue Notebook, it colapsed within itself.

Spoiler:
The preview for next week showed someone swimming out to the sailboat. Now might be a good time for Jin to mention the shark issue.

The Others used a speed boat to kidnap Walt, this is the boat Michael is talking about when he tells them he needs the boat. The boat that approaches the beach at the end isn't related to Michael's demand.

My initial thought is, could it be these are the only 4 who still have serious issues/sins to work through? Many of the others have had some sort of "completion"--Charlie was still up in the air until tonight. Just makes me wonder if they're going to take this in a new direction with these 4 characters, plus Sayid...?

I liked the episode. Mr Eko is the man. My only complaint is the same as a lot or yours, Michael was being way too obvious for them not to question it. If he wants to be quiet as they approach, there's no way he'd pick Hurley. If he wants to take on 20 with only 5, there's no way he's picking Hurley over Sayid. Ms. Clue told him to make up a story, but all Michael says is simply "that's how I say it goes." Very weak writing there. The Eko/Charlie stuff was good. Eko's necklace rising off his chest by (presumably) magnetic force was an interesting touch. Sawyer was really funny this episode with reading the manuscript and "Good news, I got Captain Arab!" The best thing about this episode was no backstory! Only flashbacks were of Michael which showed us more of the Others so that's a good thing.

Can't wait for next week. They have 2 hours and they better deliver some major developments!!

Threads lately rarely get past the 1st page before the East Coast airing starts. This season the interest has been way down. Hell this thread is just on the 3rd page the morning after a fairly revealing episode.

It would have been 5 or 6 pages by now.

And it's not fuck the west coast people. If I tape it and decide to watch it after 9 pm EST, I know better than to click on the thread before then. The only problem post in this thread was the canadian who posted after seeing it at 6PM EST when it airs their, as the forum norms are fair game after the first airing in US EST.

So fuck the canadians I guess.

It's a US forum, the norms here are use tags until it airs on the east coast. Not until the first airing in the world.

The last few minutes, I was waiting for Libby to come back to life and start flipping out in the body bag. I wouldn't mind seeing Locke on his own next season, He's definitly the most interesting character to me.
