Friday - 03/16

Fridays is becoming the new Saturday in primetime.
9.27m is the highest number...thats sad!
Raines did pretty good for a repeat viewing of the great pilot episode. 17.61 million people have watched Raines now which is good, i hope when the show moves to friday in 2 weeks it becomes the #1 show on fridays.
that would be a great lineup for NBC, next season-
(8pm)7pm- 1 vs. 100
(9pm)8pm- Las Vegas
(10pm)9pm- Raines

Again, I still think NBC should take a chance & start airing new episodes of Law & Order: CI on saturdays. the ratings are pretty much the same (sometimes higher on sat.) & it would probally get a bit of media coverage because they would be the only one out of the 3 major networks (CBS, ABC) to put a new episode of a show in primetime in a long time.
wow the NCAA Basketball hasn't had very good ratings this year? or are the the same as last year and never get high ratings?
.................................................................................................... ....
FINAL NATIONALS - WEEK OF MARCH 5TH
who would have ever thought 15 years ago that FOX would be the highest rated network on tv.
CBS is the second strongest network followed by NBC, ABC doesn't have enough high rated programs to beat NBC.

Except for 48 Hours Mystery, which CBS airs new episodes of all the time on Saturday nights. And how can you not count FOX as a major network at this point in time? Just to make your point? As you stated later in your post, FOX IS the highest-rated network right now. But they're not a major network.

I'm looking forward to see if there's an Amazing Race ratings drop to coincide with Rob & Amber's elimination

I think its because he thinks Fox is a crap network.

Doesnt really matter how you personally feel about a network, It is a MAJOR network.

Fox has 5 legtimate hits at the least.

NOTE: CBS Ratings are only approximate as the overrun went 45 minutes passed which means everything is off. I just too the numbers by the hour so expect these numbers to change once finals are released... However, CBS wins the night overall.

** - Only the last 15-minutes of Without a Trace are included in that rating.

Nice to see the three best shows of the night (amazing race, cold case & without a trace) do well.
nice to see it beat all the other garbage on tv, exept for the simpsons & dateline NBC.
Fox must be crying about getting piss poor ratings for the winner & the war at home, the'll cheer up when that AI garbage returns.
it really amazes me that 12 million people would watch deal or no deal, a repeat is even worse.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
well i continue to lose faith in primetime as more reality garbage floods the airwaves, come on people there are no stars on dancing with the stars, it should be called 'dancing with the mediocre'. new/christine's ratings are decline week by week now, sad to see.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
wow dancing with the mediocre gained more viewers, very sad. 24 got crushed. two & a half men & rules of how to make a standard sitcom, just barely lost to 24. i hope the king of queens gets good ratings when the final 7 episodes of the series air (god did cbs treat the final season of this show like shit).

10-11pm (9-10pm):
CSI: Miami through i still watch, it still sucks. i don't like the other 2 shows so miami is the best out of the three of them.

Shows by 18-49 Demo:
sad, sad, sad.

Overall:
wow i cant believe people tuned into such garbage television.

Boston Legal gets dishonorable mention this week for being the solo original program at 10 and still couldn't come out on top...

8-9pm (7-8pm):
well everyone knows garbage idol is going to be number one so ill just comment on the other shows. nice to see NCIS get good ratings again, this season the show is lacking quality but last nights episode wasn't bad probally the second or third best episode of the season which isn't great, i really hope the show can get back to what it was in its first 3 execellent seasons. Nice to see Dateline NBC: 'to catch a con-man' come in third, i really have been enjoying dateline as of late for some odd reason.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
again garbage idol picks up more viewers. the unit got pretty good ratings, better then they usually get for a new episode. L&O: CI was a repeat again last night, the sad thing is and i still think nbc should move new episodes of the show to saturday, cause they got better ratings for a repeat.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
its pretty sad that 9 million people watched a repeat of CSI. im surpised the new episode of boston legal got 9 million people and beat a repeat of L&O: SVU.

Shows by 18-49 Demo:
nice to see NCIS #2, i would have liked to have seen it #1 but that will never happen because people like reality garbage. i can't believe a repeat of CSI got 4th in this demo, sad that people still watch that crap.

Overall:
dateline NBC was the best show of the night, followed by a half decent episode of NCIS.

I agree about Dateline. I was getting kind of tired of the "To Catch a Predator" series myself so "To Catch a Con Man" was a nice reprieve (and I'll be tuning in next week). But, ratings wise, it isn't doing well at all... Between Idol and NCIS, there's not much of an audience left.

True with idol & NCIS taking a total of over 42 million people dateline gets the shaft. I don't think the show is in danger of getting cancelled through because it usually does better than ABC's primetime series, i know its on different timeslots but it still gets higher ratings.

America's Next Top Model (CW)

DISHONORABLE MENTION
Crossing Jordan (NBC), Medium (NBC)

Note:
Lost is damn close to being relegated to Honorable Mention territory as it went below 12m viewers (although when final nationals come out, it could get above that). However, it was #1 in the 18-49 demo so it stays in the winners circle... for now.

That's odd, on most other sites Lost had a higher household score than the last two weeks, and somehow has less viewers, weird.

Lost seems to be following the same path as 24. It's gradually losing viewers each week.

Very sad to see CJ and Medium struggle against two powerhouse shows (AI and CSI:NY) I heard that Medium may fair a better chance of either getting renewed or moving to CBS since they have a very lucrative deal for the syndication rights on Lifetime if it reaches 100 episodes.

Frankly, I'm not even worried at all about FNL. I heard NBC loves the show and it's getting rave reviews. Between this, Studio 60 and Black Donnelly's, I see NBC renewing FNL and canning the others.
