You know Law & Order won't be around much longer when it gets beat by 20/20. Some of that has to do with Raines horrible #'s althrough.

Yeah i know & looking at the #s for saturdays repeat episode of L&O it did almost the same as it did on fridays new episode. I think NBC should move L&O & L&O: CI to saturdays because both shows get around the same #s they get on there new episode days, Hell L&O: CI gets better #s for repeats on Sats then it does for new eps. on Tues.

Does Family Guy usually beat the Simpsons? I thought it generally had a tad less audience.

The separate numbers for The Simpsons wasn't available. What's on there combines original and repeat episodes, so it's possible the original episode beat Family Guy...

Edit: Got the breakdown and I stand corrected... Family Guy did beat The Simpsons, but it could change when nationals are released.

Anyone else think it's odd a repeat did better than an original?

No. They're all the same so nobody knows what is a repeat and what is not.

And that's the bottom line for Fox execs, they'd rather plug in repeats that they think will get more viewers than air the original programming that keeps shedding viewers after a few weeks.

Well at least 24's ratings didnt go down..but instead went up a little.

Is it just me, or is Heroes also down? Did the hiatus hurt Heroes?

KOQ gained almost half a million viewers from last week. I wonder if this is because people are wating to watch the last few episodes. I also wonder if anyone at CBS is starting to rethink canceling KOQ after this year. Any idea of all the principles are under contract for a 10th season?

^ I think CW (as WB, IIRC) was thinking the same thing when they decided to bring back 7th Heaven. I know it's not on the same ratings field but I believe people are tuning it to see the last episodes.

As for Heroes, I don't know what to make of it. Everything else lately seems to be down by over a million so it might be the time of year or something...

And viewers are missing some of the best hours of television that we have seen in a long time.

I cannot believe the brain dead viewing public* would rather watch Dancing and the CBS comedies. Oh wait, I think I hit the nail on the head.

Was Dancing with the Stars on before the Heroes Hiatus? If not, I'd hate to say it, but that would explain it.

Dancing with the Stars started 2 weeks after the Heroes hiatus started. But, I cannot believe that people who were watching Heroes before the hiatus, decided that they would rather watch Dancing live, instead of Heroes.

Hell, I gave up 24 live when Heroes finally came back and I haven't regretted it one moment.

For being the big "It"/"Hit" show of the 2006/07 season, Heroes' ratings should absolutely NOT be falling so much in its breakout first season. I remember LOST (which was in a similar position for the 2004/05 season) sustaining between 16-18 million for new episodes and rising to 19-20 million for the finale. I like Heroes, but I don't like where it's going to be in two years time when it's getting critically bashed and is on the receiving end of fan backlash (inevitable) ... 7 million viewers a week? 8?

Never underestimate the power of girlfriends and wives, who have a valid point in wanting to watch a live show live and forcing others to watch a recorded show, well, recorded.

Curious to see what the DVR results are.

Kevin James doesn't want to do it anymore. Leah Remini wanted a 10th season but Kevin didn't.
This show could have probally gone on for 11 seasons but its not. Only 3 episodes left!

It still amazes me that CSI: Miami gets those #'s because it has to be the worst of the 3 CSI's. Actually its the only bad one because NY is usually good and CSI this year is having its most entertaining season yet!

Nice to see New/Christine get more viewers this week from last weeks shotty ratings.
