8-9pm (7-8pm):
Wow, 9 million people watched a repeat of house? over 2 new back to back eps of new/christine, damn-and i still can't believe 15mill watched deal or no deal. sad night.
9-10pm (8-9pm):
17 million tuned in for a second episode of deal or no deal? come on! 24 ratings are up but i don't watch the show so it means nothing. the season finale of supernanny was good but the ratings were lower that last weeks.
10-11pm (9-10pm):
14 million people watched a repeat of CSI: Miami, through i watch the show i can barely watch new episodes. piss poor ratings for the black donnelly's & what about brian?-i can't wait till both those shows are cancelled. ABC won't cancell brian because they don't have that much original programming.
Shows by 18-49 Demo:
you know primetime tv on mondays has really gone downhill when Deal or no deal & CSI: Miami are in the top 5 in the most important demo.
Overall:
pretty low night, sad to see christine do so poor. i watched the season 4 finale of corner gas which was good.
CSI: Miami, repeat so i didn't watch that.

Do you think the nicer weather around the country, coupled with the time change (light out longer), have much of an influence on viewership?
It's hard for me to say what I'd do if I didn't have a Tivo, but I was outside until halfway through 24 Friday night, and didn't get home until after Idol last night - for reasons completely related to the weather and time change.

I still can't believe 27 million people watch that reality garbage show known as american idol. NCIS got good numbers for a repeat, nice to see dateline take 3rd. I can't stand AFHV & gilmore girls so its nice to see them take last places in this slot.
9-10pm (8-9pm):
now 31 million people are watching reality garbage, sad indeed. wow low ratings for a repeat of the unit, losing alot of NCIS's viewers. even lower ratings for a L&O:CI repeat, a repeat of it does better on saturdays. good to see less people are watch that stupid pussycat doll show.
10-11pm (9-10pm):
I can't believe people watched a repeat of CSI. sad to see L&O: SVU repeat take 2nd. no one is watching legal.
Shows by 18-49 Demo:
2 of the most overrated shows this year are in the top 2 in the most important demo. nice to see SVU & NCIS do good through.
Overall:
another night of repeats again last night.

Well, Lost ain't picking up new viewers, that's for sure. Their storyform doesn't lend itself for new viewers to show up and enjoy the show on its own. Just one negative aspect of serialized/episodic TV. You'll have a core viewership, but it's hard to grow the audience after 2-3 seasons. You'd almost have to reboot it for the 4th season if you wanted to try to attract new viewers, but you run the risk of alienating long-time viewers, and a show like Lost doesn't lend itself to being easily rebooted given its premise.

I don't watch Pussycat dolls, but you would think they would realize that Top Model is a better fit with the show. The ratings prove that even if Gilmore was a repeat. I would hope that the average Gilmore viewer is too smart to watch crap like Pussycat dolls.

It looks like the decisions to give Lost and Jericho long breaks instead of repeats with new episodes scattered in is blowing up in their faces. I wonder if ABC goes with a 24 style schedule for Lost next year.

Looks like Andy Barker is having better retention than Scrubs. That worries me a little, I don't dislike the show but I like 30 Rock

Wow! I'm quite amazed that over 12 million tuned into "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?" over a new episode of "Ugly Betty" and NCAA Basketball. I just read that FOX ordered 13 more episodes, so I fully expect this show to be around awhile.
Supernatural's numbers appear to be pretty much the same as usual. I know the show gets a little over 3 million viewers on average, so those numbers aren't outstanding by any means.
Raines and October Road did quite well. But I fully expect those numbers to drop the 2nd week.

I predict October Road is going lose more viewers than Raines next week, though. I read that OR had more viewers drop in the second half-hour than Raines...

I'm actually shocked that 'October Road' got 14 million viewers (in all honesty I was expecting 9 million tops because I didn't want to get my hopes up)... I just hope the show stays above 11 million, because I really found myself getting drawn into it, and I'm tired of these 6-episodes series that ABC produces and then Drops (Veritas, The Days, etc.)

ABC still has "Traveler" sitting on the shelf gathering dust. I heard that's an 8 episode series that's suppose to premiere in May now.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
through i think are you smarter than a 5th grader? is a pretty bad show, its nice to see it beat that god awful show Ugly Betty. its nice to see that not everyone is watching th NCAA Basketball Tournament, it beat the office however. decent ratings for smallville through i don't watch the show its probally the least annoying show on the CW.
9-10pm (8-9pm):
i still can't believe people tune into grey's anatomy, it is probally one of the most overrated shows this year, awful show. scrubs ratings at low like usual, sad to see.
Andy Barker PI was not good, through i am a huge conan & andy R. fan this show had no laughes, oh well 30 Rock will come back soon enough. ABPI i will tune into but just to support the show over greys garbage.
at least scrubs beat the very unintresting family guy. the CW lost alot a mill viewers, who cares.
10-11pm (9-10pm):
well i got quite a suprise last nite.....RAINES!-wow what a great show, not since boomtown has there been such a entertaining crime drama that is unique and different. Jeff Goldblum is great, (he was on conan tonite and he was hilarous). nice to see it get 10 million viewers!, i can't believe october road got more viewers?, do people not know how to turn the channel after they finish watching there god awful medical drama.
Shows by 18-49 Demo:
wow the 3 worst shows of the night! raines did alright in this demo.
Overall:
i was quite surpised with raines, truly a great new & unique show that i hope continues to do well in the ratings-i hope it stays around for more seasons and doesn't get cancelled like the great boomtown.
