I keep forgetting about MNF. If the Patriots aren't playing, I usually don't watch it.

But, yes, you're right. That's probably more likely than my book-reading theory. I wonder if we're a few years away from Monday nights become a 'dead zone' of programming ala Saturday night.

I can't imagine The Nine surviving.

Poor Tim Daly - 2 very good shows on ABC in the last few years and just can't score ratings.

Why is Gilmore Girls listed for Wednesday evening shows? Shouldn't it be One Tree Hill?

I highly doubt it... I would be surprised to see it populated by more family, cult, niche shows... but not a dead zone...

It's sort of sad that a CSI rerun brings in more viewers than the World Series game 4 last night.

Good to see Amazing Race has been building its ratings back up. It started the season pretty poorly, coming off all the time slot shuffling (and the momentum-killing Family Edition) from last year.

I'm sure Sorkin would have something to say about the fact that American's Funniest Home Videos is only getting 0.7m less viewers than Studio 60.

Yeah, it completely sucked, even competing against reruns. I was hoping it might get a reasonable share of a small Saturday night crowd. We'll be lucky if they stick with the plan to burn off episodes.

Is it too intellectual for the audience too?

What's with the absence of Battlestar Galactica's numbers? I haven't known it's ratings for like the last 3 weeks.

I find it sad that a rerun of CSI: Miami brought in almost twice as many viewers than an all-new episode of Friday Night Lights did last night. What is up with these Nielsen viewers?

Heroes improved by 2 points from last week (mainly due to reruns on CBS). Hooray for Heroes!

Heroes looks like it went up again. Didn't it have low 14 million last week? That's pretty cool.

^ The only reason Prison Break did as well as it did was because, outside of Deal or No Deal, it was competing against reruns on CBS and ABC (not that either of those are jaugernaut shows would make much of a splash even if they were new).
